I think the only equitable solution is for the Cougars to be awarded the three points, Lower Hutt to get fined $3,000 , Easty to get a life ban, and Patterson forced to play a game against the Kittenz so he gets beaten up and taught a lesson. Just my thoughts.

Haha thats a great idea feverish, how did I get a life ban outta this tho?

Is Lower Hutt still to play the Cougars this season? I think with Patterson playing whilst suspended he will be lucky to play at all for the rest of the season let alone have a game against the Kittenz! But that said the Karori Kittenz are grade Capital 16 A afterall with no official refs (generally)! BEWARE of a stray photographer though!

Big game this weekend with Upper Hutt v Kapiti in a winner takes all affair! Upper Hutt seem to have the momentum with back to back 4-0 wins. Should be a good battle!

Is anyone brave enough to do picks for this weekend?. Weather forecast is predicting rain for back end of week which could make things interesting for Saturday football.

Steelo, big win for your lads over Waikanae last weekend agh! I would think you guys have what it takes to beat Lower Hutt this weekend! All the best here.

It was the same down in the MPL - as soon as you have been shown a red, you are automatically suspended for one playing day. CF don't need to confirm that in writing before your next match.

Yea I thaught that was the case, good work.
What we still dont really know is how this affects a game that was abonded.
Is it like everything else in that game e.g goals, cards etc... and means nothing?

Can somebody in CF confirm that they don't need to confirm.

Upeer Hutt 3 Kapiti 1 tomorrow. Upper Hutt to go on and smash Tawa the week after  to take the title

Interesting to note at the half way stage of the season Tawa had a 8 point lead over both KCU and Upper Hutt. Could be a great come back from Upper Hutt. KCU need to win tomorrow or it's 3rd.

Be interesting to see if Upper Hutt play in first teamers since their first team is safe in Premier.  Or will they wait till next week?  Axeman, can you enlighten us?

Feverish, any chance of you making an appearance for the Cougars, or if any of the Dreamers will lend their services?

Don't get to cocky there Axeman - Kapiti are a good side - chances of them dropping points 3 weeks in a row - who know?

BNU 3 - 0 Waikanae

Another great performance from us today and our 3rd clean sheet in a row. If we carry on like this we're going to give KCU a run for their money.

Good stuff Rapa, hopefully you can get another win next week, with a LH loss and sink them.

Anyone know of any other results?

Why do you think Feverish, ask SS. Would expect they will wait till after next weeks games and than see if its going to affect outcome of league, that way they dont have to make a decision.

Congrats to Tawa and Upper Hutt who get promoted after their wins today and meet in next weeks "final" to see who will win the league. Any match reports from their respective "semi-finals"?

Great game out at Weka park on a pitch that is one of the best in the wellington region.  Game went from end to end with both teams creating good chances.  Both teams playing some very good football.  a draw might have been a fair result but we will take the win and now can enjoy the game next week.

We had one player who hadnt trained all week due to illness and wasnt selected in the first team. But this is the case most weeks, we normally get one dropped from the first training squad.

I would personally like to thank the lower hutt lads for a great game against the Wairarapa yesterday.  Good hospitality at the Station Bar and a good feed.  Set us up for a very interesting trip home.  Not feeling the greatest now.  Nevermind.  If things go the way they are going, we will see you in Cap 4 next year.  Cheers

It took three weeks for them to submit a team card when we played them.  So dont hold your breath.

Tawa beat Karori 2-0 but it should have been a lot more.  I don't think we have created so many chances in a game this season.  We should have been 3 or 4 up by halftime but couldn't finish it off with a couple of close ones being cleared off the line.  We finally scored just before half time when the ball bounced over the keeper's head for us to finish off.  2nd half was much of the same, with a lot of set pieces not being finished off.  Finally got the 2nd with a minute to go from a well finished header.

Karori had brief periods of attacking us but didn't look too threatening.  Still the longer the game stayed 1-0, the more chance there was of Karori sneaking a draw.

Should be a great game next week against Upper Hutt to decide who wins the title.  Regardless of the Lower Hutt v Tawa result, a win for either Upper Hutt or us will see the title won.  If it's a draw, then it will depend on the Lower Hutt result.

How does the relegation/promotion thing work?  If 2 go up and 2 go down, that leaves 4 spots.  2 will get relegated from Cap 2 and 2 will get promoted form Cap 4.  What happens if Douglas Villa (wairarapa champions) and the Horowhenua champions decide to take their rightful positions in Cap 3. Do 3 get relegated and three get promoted, leaving 6 spots to be filled?

Ha ha ha , as i have said  many times on here before spurz, get you facts right before commenting, The card was in on time for your game but your club thought it was wise to lay a complaint about our team card/regrades, which duly got DENIED by cf!!! Just because your club asks to have a copy of the team card 3 wks later doesnt mean we only just put it in. Get your facts right before commenting!!!!

Well im going by what we were told by Capital Football, So I assumed that them would be the facts. And we never asked for a copy.  But its not worth argument, as we seem to both have different versions of the story.  But that doesnt surprise me when CF are involved.

But Rapa are above LH by one point so if LH lose both of their games Rapa would be in the playoff and LH down to Cap 4, is this not correct?

I have been told that there is no playoff so its two straight down. But may be mistaken. We can also hypothetically catch the Cougars if they lose and we win although we would need to make up the eight goals we are behind in goal difference.

Also i can imagine lower hutts team will get much stronger, they had three central league guys on Saturday and their central league season is over so may drop more players.

Actually Steelo, the goal differencce for Wai united is -18 and Karori is -15.  If we win by 4 or more and karori lose something to nil then we stay up.
