Quite ironic how 2 ex Wai United players from last year, scored against them for Lower Hutt today. And to top it all off, Wai United were awarded a penalty in the last minute of the game, only to have Seule Soroman blast it clean into crossbar. Snatching a loss from the Jaws of a Draw!

Without to much knowledge (as per) of what is going on I think there are some upsets here
Lh and Fiji both to draw this week,
Like the maycenvale 1 Miramar 2(but I'm thinking a late winner)after thrashing them last year and with it being the first of their must win road trips I'm thinking some late drama
Then bubbles and wilson subs to win comfortably
But isn't this fun!
I do miss Wellington football
Just on a side note good luck to all!enjoy the season without injuries and bad refs! Good luck to Patterson for his 5000th game and come on the bubbles!

Nick, welcome back!  You are out of touch my friend.  Patterson not playing Central League.  Finished up with 437 first team appearances.

Hey Radioman. Yes i was at the game, but missed the 1st goal by George. In my opinion, i though Fiji done ok with what they had to play with. I thought Robson put himself under pressure early on, but did play a better game in the second half. WU new Argentinian player looked to add some spark after replacing Campbell Banks, who i thought was not doing to bad. No Adam Cowan either, as he was suspended. Georgie had another strong game, and Abba, as much as he keeps hold of the ball too long played alright as well. I think LHC will be good this year. Mainly made up of younger players, with the potential to do well.

I think Wai United would be too strong for PN marist this weekend. Maybe a 3-1 win to united.TSMA2011-04-05 18:37:36

I will take my prediction of the Wai United/Palmy game to the bank. If only the TAB took wagers on it!

Western Suburbs  2 - 0 Napier City

Fairly dull game with two goals from set pieces in each half. Suburbs have some new Asian guy who apparently flew in from Japan only yesterday who was pretty decent. Suburbs keeper also made an outrageous save from a dipping volley that looked destined for the top corner.

Watched most of the Olympic Petone game. Petone will be gutted after being 2-0 up for 50 odd minutes.

Olympic supporters and Jimmy H providing many lols as per.

Does anyone know if it's the Andy Bevin from HBU that's playing for Petone? I saw his name on the team list but didn't see him on the pitch.

Fuck this stupid game

Well he was picked for the NZ u-20s; so I imagine that he (as well as Cain and Galbraith) are training with the squad in Auckland.

He played for NCR against us last weekend if I'm correct

Yeah I thought he was heading to the US as well. I think 2ndBest might have a copy of the program I read (very briefly). Maybe I was seeing things but he could be able to confirm. I also thought it would be strange to see him playing for Petone rather than NCR.

Tawa were battled off the park today apart from a spell where they looked good and scored. Last game of the season at redwood park. It now looks like an abortion.
