Adam cowan chipped nathu from the edge of 18 yard box inthe second minute. Pita rabo top left hand corner from about 20 out. Ended up 3 1. Cowan scored last goal.from the way it started, it looked like it was going to be a fiery affair, but the second half was pretty quiet.

Robbo did well for himself. Midfield role this time round.

Rapa were the better side. Too little too late for Olympic.

So is there any truth to the rumour that Ifill, Greenacre and Macallister are going to be playing for Olympic? Heard it from a few different sources now. If true then should be some good viewing.

The Olympic programme had last year's Petone squad list, despite the current list being available

If you follow @park_life on twitter or Park Life on facebook (facebook.com/parklifenz) you will get regular score updates from around the leagues, including full time results as they happen.  And league tables at the end of the day.

Thanks to Four Kings.

Grab a copy of PL in your club rooms and on the back is a Four Kings voucher for that weekend.  Free beers generally.  It's mint.

So I guess no one wanted to answer. Can anyone from Olympic explain whether the rumours of Phoenix players playing for them or not?

What les said - It's probably all coming from the greeks themselves.

Fuck this stupid game

Ifill is back in the UK, looking at his "options" i would doubt very much the Greeks are part of that

In all honesty fullahs, this is a large scale yarn....not at all sure how this rumour has leaked into the football community. It is entertaining though.

Ye Leo just signed a 3-year deal with Olympic. Paston, Lockhead, and Ifill all coming in the next few weeks.

We also agreed terms with David Beckham as well, who has agreed to sell $2 souvlakia at the next home game vs. Miramar.

Our draw with Souvlakia at the World Cup was one of the highlights of last year.

This is not acceptable "uncle Steve" I mean you already forgot to mention Pavlovich and as for the souvlakia ....what can you buy these days for $2 ....nothing really....!!!
So to make up for it we will try and have at least a David look-alike selling them ( hope his missus and the kids will allow him to travel for this occasion....)
All the best for Easter

maycenvale 2 lower hutt 1

much lols ensued when theron was subbed off, told george to f**k off, told brendon he couldnt coach and "use your own f**king two eyes to read the game" then the trusty bell park fence withstood a few swiftly planted kicks. was up on the balcony shortly after got to about beer count 5 by the end of the game.

As for the actual game itself two great displays of goalkeeping from the youngster Basalisk for Lower Hutt, and evergreen Gouldie for Maycenvale who pulled off a screamer from a free kick, a massive double save with 5 to go, and then a crushing punch with the final play of the game, that critically wounded one of the Lower Hutt school boys

Maycenvale's tactic of giving it to the knackered right back to pump long worked a treat!

Wests 3-2 Petone

An early pen was awarded to Petone after about 2-5mins of play (player brought down in the box after a Wests defender failed to bring under control a goal kick on halfway) and Wests came from behind twice with 3 really well taken goals - the third was initially ruled offside but after much deliberation between the ref and his assistant it was ruled the goal scorer was never in an offside position. All in all it was a good game with a good crowd.

unless there was a very early goal I missed. Marist keeper made some outstanding saves and Miramar dominated the whole game.
