As an Aucklander I should want three kings to win but as a central united supporter I do not want the scum from 2km away at keith hay park to win any national silverware they are just thugs and hooligans (Oh I May be a hypocrite some people have seen me at ACFC matches) but kings will be motivated after the loss of Ken Sargent it hurts me to say he did do a lot for the game in the Auckland region but on sunday I have to go with the Greeks I will be at North Harbour booing three kings as usual which is what I have been doing most of my Football watching career

May your bubbles fly so hi, nearly reach the sky,
then like 3 Kings, fade and die

Good luck for what will hopefully be another stage in  Wellington's dominance of New Zealand          Football.

Anyone mentioned the TAB odds.

something like: To win.
Three Kings $1.95
Greeks $1.80

Surprised by that.  Thought Auckland location and things would make Kings slight favourites.

As a transplanted Aucklander living in Wellington, I've seen both teams play this year. My son watched the semi and said the 3 Kings played well to beat the 'mar.

I think the Olympic boys have a bit more muscle and are a more physical outfit where as 3 Kings are a very young side and counter attack very well. They predominantly play finesse 1 touch at pace.

Most cup finals are defensive affairs and both keepers are tremendous. I think that both teams cancel each other out well enough that its going to come down to the creative flair and experience of Raf vs Del Monte. Raf plays more central and a tad deeper than Del Monte where as Del Monte has played a bit wider (from what I've seen) and further forward.

1 goal and it and I don't think it will be Kings. They will be emotional but thats not always enough.

im picking 3 Kings for some reason even though Ive never seen them play. Hopefully the bubbles can do it (hopefully on pens with NVH putting off the pen taken with cartwheels)

Simple pred this time. 1-1. Kings on pens.

Should be a great game in hopefully great weather.

Three for me, and two for them.

Geat corner from Mikey H should have been an equaliser but no one on the end of it.

Three kings look better with the ball on the break although Olympic are spending more time in the Three Kings half.  Incidentally the northern 2nd division must have softened up since I used to watch it, some of the 3K players collapse if you walk near them. case in point, del Monte there.

Jimmy H looking a bit out of sorts,

Oh yeah and Mark Elrick, wtf ?

del monte causing all sorts of problems though, should have had a free kick before with that solo run. olympic plenty of territory but giving away the ball too easy. yeah haidakis looks lost as. bit of a lol @ one of the olympic defenders but thats sort of personal ;)

Micky Malivuk 1-1.  Halikias corners have been the best weapon so far and if George and Jimmy can find a touch they can get back in to this.

Walters has looked awful at corners, considering he'd been tipped to me as as A-League prospect.

So is the score 1-1?

lol I reckon the tku players were probably told to get in nvh's face. can see himself getting sent off if he carrys on about stupid crap like a player falling over him.

olympic starting to look more dangerous but need to watch out for tku counter attack. pretty quick on the break and seem to find space well.

I don't think the player going over him was the problem, it was the wind-up from Hogg afterwards.

Is it just me or does Elrick sound hugely biased towrds Three Kings ?

not really, nothing hes saying is making much sense, pretty rubbish commentary really haha. could easily see this game going to pens.

I love that the commentary has been all about Raf but the highlights reel is all George.

He's been like that all game. Kind of hope someone gets him properly and earns a yellow.

fell about as soft as george just did for that pen, what a joke, a bit of shoulder if anything but a very rough penalty. odd that a wellington ref is reffing this game btw lol

mmm... questionable pen ?

He certainly dived in and knocked George over when George was by him, but 'shoulder to shoulder' ?

THere will be angst.

2-1 Bubbles.  Raf Pen.

It's because Hester will have the 'nix game, O'Leary is at the FIFA tournament and next cab off the rank is Jamie.  The good news is that any Olympic fan will tell you  that Jamie hates them and screws them every time.
