You can always drop down to Cap 7 and play right back for the Magpies.

radioman I would be keeping your head down mate and worry about your next big game in the cup against Wharfies. you wont be able to have casual yarns to randoms from your goal box without  it being peppered. im predicting 3-1 wharfies.

who are you?

i played at wharfies for 3 years, with alot of the players who are there today(and almost went back 1/2 way through last year)! i know they are good and are goinng to be tough!

But if you think that is going to stop me yarning or doing whatever it is that runs through my head at the time your mistaken! so buy a ticket, sit in the stands, stick to posting on web coz your not in the cup and watch as the bubbles cup run continues!

I take exception to being called a random.  I'm sure Dale does too.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

who f**king cares.

pretty easy picks this week.
olympic and miramar to win, cant see karori or united troubling at all.
but hey cup has done funnier things.

as per normall BBT2 you are jumping the gun, this week is not the cup, this week the bubbles are playing the mar.

as for the cup the week after i think both the mar and the bubbles will have to be careful of their games

wow, can you find the team lists and scorers for wharfies on that day, coz that is a good bubbles team
Permalink Permalink
over 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

careful of what?

uniteds ability to score? or defend?
or karori defending for 120 minutes for a nil all draw and penaltys?
miramar and olympic were in the next round when the draw was made and they didnt get each other.

its funny you say that coz it is the first time in a great number of years that they have both gone through and not drawn against eachother.

Olympic remain unbeaten and have the 2nd best defence in central league. I dont see Karori causing us too many problems. They may cause an upset, however if they come out there trying to play football then they will be outplayed by Olympic. If Karori come out physical as they normally do then perhaps an upset may be on the cards, wel c.

As for Miramar v Welly United, I say 3 to 4 nil win to Miramar. Hopefully United can cause an upset.

WTF ?  What wharfies team are you watching ?  The Wests 10yo side have a more physically imposing midfield than Wharfies.

how to beat olympic in 2 easy steps:
1) scored first
2) wind down the clock by  wellying the ball away as far as possible since they don't have ball kids to fetch them.

Gerondis

Balls

and Kids

The three words that should never be in the same sentence.

Ye was a bit of a joke sorry 2ndBest, I think they thought the ball wouldnt be cleared out of the ground so many times watching you guyes try play football. Next time when welly united play olympic should make sure they get about 30 ballboys caz they cant string more than 3 passes.

Agreed Gerondis and kids dont go well.

Whos favourites to win the cup???

I would have thought that there weren't any ball boys because you spend so much on paying your players there isn't enough in the budget to buy 6 packets of chips and 6 cokes.

And just to clear things up here 2ndbest, seeing as you know so much about Olympics finacial activities can you please tell us exactly what we spend on our players in comparison to the other teams in the league.

Im intrigued.

Like you guys starting NvH in goal each week.

Gag, smag.

It always seems to come back to this cheap shot of us spending 'so much' with no supporting evidence at all.

AND if you must know, the reason we dont have ballkids is due to the current inflation of football transfer prices.

Ever since they saw Ronaldo go for 96M and Kaka for 60, they have jolted a contract renewal and now want 3 packet of chippies, a powerade, and a pack of cigarettes.

As guest ball kid I wasn't hoping for anything like fags or drinks. I even paid full price for my toastie down at your rooms on Sunday. Nice toastie though, betterthan the ones I make.

Ye true, I guess we should just pay for your team to be ball boys since you cant play football..
Well offer you a pack of chips and a can of coke PLUS even better, save yourself the embarrasement of getting relegated? Wat ya say?

looking forward to when the Wharf are thrashing the Bubbles 4-0 and then smashing it into the baboon enclosure with five to go - and NVH and Pavlos chasing after it
