P.S. Interesting choice of colours worn by the Olympic keeper.

Kind of like Pastel Pink, with blue shorts, and a washout cap.

Three for me, and two for them.

Oh right.  He wears that every week.

Thought he might have rustled up something special for the Cup.

Good game at Becroft today.
FHM probably deserved to be more than 1 up at half Time. Olympic seemed to like to pass the ball around a lot the back and then lump it forward. Very ineffective as the slow build up gave FHM plenty of time to get players behind ball. Not really familiar with FHM playerrs but had a couple of very quick Africans who ran from deep positions and caused Olympic problems.
Olympic upped tempo in second half and even though they went down 2-1 through a good Fisher header seemed to run FHM a bit ragged. FHM poor defensively and that really cost them.
FHM's 3rd goal scored in injury time.
A great day out for a small club.
Probably the worst result for NZFA - there is no way they will want an Wellington final so I 'm sure there'll be a stitch up in the draw to ensure a Miramar - Olympic semi !

More likely Newtown but I would be HUGELY surprised if it isn'tlayed at NHS though, particularly as they have thrown a tanty about the qualifier being here.

I'd book your flights pavlos.

Actually what date is it ?  JR ?

Scheduled for the weekend of September 19/20.  The Phoenix have a home game at 3pm on Sunday 20th, so logic would say it'll be on the 19th.

Zero.

Rugby International: All Blacks v Australia Date: Sat, 19 Sep 2009 Time: 7:35pm - 9:15pm.

Double header with rugby and football that weekend is already pushing it. Trust me, there's no way another game will be played on the Sunday.

Fuck this stupid game

Well done Olympic. I'm not even an Olympic player or supporter but I hope they go all the way and take out the cup. They made it to the finals in the mid 90's no reason they can't push on now and make history.

Excellent rant.

BTW i wasn't giving you stick over it. It was just different to what you normally see keepers wear (all black or yellow for example) but certainly nothing wrong with it. Bit cold to wear just a short sleeve t-shirt though?

Oh, and i did like your nonchalance in goal throughout most parts of the game. Very chic.

Three for me, and two for them.

im going to  take that as a compliment, given that their keeper made no saves and coinceded 4 and i hade to make saves all day.

i know you wernt taking the piss about my shirt(the crowd was the most appreciative of my shirt) out of all the away crowds thus far

I see that there was no Derbyshire for Miramar. I was looking forward to seeing him. Miramar's midfield was waaay to strong though and no matter what people say about Horsey Halstead, he always manages to scores important goals.

Hey if Buffon wears pink then Nick can wear pink.. who cares. End of the day we won.
As for Derbyshire from what Iv seen I dont think hes good enough to play in that starting 11. This is not only my opinion but many others believe this aswell.

BTW, I hope that's not the same shirt you were wearing when I was reffing down there. It must be falling to bits by now

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

You keep rocking the Pink Nick.

Us keepers are allowed to look as pretty as we like. They're all just jealous!

What i meant was you seemed very relaxed and calm as apposed to Tamati who was very highly strung or pent up.

Three for me, and two for them.

thanks smithy was a big one last night(good flight home)

And yes BuffonII i am more relaxed than most keepers, it easy to be relaxed at the moment , when playing for a team that is unbeaten in 18 and has won 9 of there last 10 games.

more fun when your relaxed as well
