Every club in Wellington that I can think of pays their first team coach, so this is hardly newsworthy.

Naenae buying players from North Wellington on the other hand...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

To be fair no one as quite as massive as us when it comes to spending money on players, hell with our $1,000,000 a year budget our world class facilities and our knack for producing titles on end it's no wonder we spend half of that a year on securing only the best players.

I guess the only consolation for Upper Hutt is that you have to be in with the chance of winning something in order to be able to choke on it.

They'll be disappointed no doubt, but two seasons in a row they've been near or at the top of the league.

Lots of teams underneath them have had less success (and in some cases spent more money).

All of that nice stuff aside, HUGE CHOKE! and Upper Hutt are still in the same boat as all those other clubs.

...THIRD!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Have to be one of the ugliest games I've ever seen. Pitch and conditions were terrible meaning that the lads didn't want to play any balls on the deck. So it basically turned into kick and chase alot of the time. Very little skill on display. Emi did have a 1 on 1 where he rounded the keeper, just couldn't put it into the empty net.

Red sox never really looked liked scoring except for a disallowed goal (after a blatant offside) but to their credit did try to play some footy. Will be a good match on the artificial next week i'd say, away goal could be crucial.

I think W u will be to good for red sox who will need to adapt to the quicker ball on wakefield

Certainly hope so but they will have to improve from todays performance. Red sox aren't anything flash but for such a young team they battle well and try to knock it around.

Redsox had the better of the game i thought, even though there wasnt much created in the whole game Redsox did control play. United did create the best chances but Redsox very unlucky with an offside call when even the defender that got rounded said he was onside. Will be a great game at Wakefield next weekend

I think bbt is trying to hint at the club on `money well spent` on personnel...I could be wrong...

I think Rightstr knew exactly what he was implying and gave it due credit.

Hear Wests are fuming about going down, without a play off.

The bottom team dosent have a play off though. Instead of fuming they should have bought better players .

A dog with a bone :)

But W united was at the best third in Cap 1 but really 4th if not for politics.

Oh, I understand now.
Miramar and KCU payed on the wrong pitch so that Wests would finally get relagated from Cap Prem.
