Varsity were 2-0 down after five minutes, including a penalty after 30 seconds!  4-0 to Olympic at half-time, including a great diving header.  Vic got one back then were down to 10 men for the last quarter hour, conceding the last at the end.

Fale failed to lose unlosable game.  Wish I'd videoed his half time work.  Rubbish.

Cards or goals?

From what I hear, goals!
You know, for once I actually took the field so I am not 100% certain that's the final score but my mate who was injured and watched both games swore it was 2-1 to Karorinewzealandpower2011-02-28 20:57:12

Has anyone seen Porirua play? Are they an actual 'mens' team or a youth side ie school boys?

Marist 2 - Wainui 1.

Deserved win, but Wainui still qualify second in the group, as Tawa put away the Wairarapa, as the Wai NZFC players obviously had other commitments :P

From what I saw, looked like Petone firsts were doing the number on UH firsts

I see the cup could only find a pedo supporter to sponsor it.

Our annual Hilton Petone Tournament kicks off on Sunday February 20th and it's my pleasure to announce Caltex Railway Avenue as the tournament sponsor. It's fantastic to have them onboard and their support of our tournament and local football is very much appreciated.

Please make the effort to support our newest sponsor by using their services - Caltex Railway Avenue, Lower Hutt. Just around the corner from the club!

Wairarapa missing 1 more than Tawa for part of the game.  Both Tawa and Wainui Qualify

Petone 2 Upper Hutt 0 . Both teams Qualify from that group.

Looking forward to Olympic V Lower Hutt tonight. Depending on if Whafies cant beat University by a decent margin they would both need the win to get through.

I walked all four matches for the laughs.  Disturbingly your 2nds may make it out of the group as Porirua Tawa Devils beat North Wellington 4-2 in an 'ill-tempered affair.

Wharf bought on perpetual 50 year old Brodie Wilson and perpetual 10 year old John Shmidt (sp?) in a 4-0-ish win over Varsity.

United B 2-0 down at the half and pretty average against a Tawa side who were taking the piss so much Karl (I think) Romijn was in goal for them - and did okay - but they kept it scoreless in the second half.

Bubbles City drew 1-1 with Bubbles Hutt.  Lots of angst.  Ifill's mate Oli I believe getting a pair of yellows before the half for City Bubbles who once again were not particularly pleased with their former keeper who refereed.

No.7 for Karori was pretty handy.

besides, half the Uni boys were new guys from trials who never played together or for the club. Karori deserved the win, but Dave you forgot to mention that we hit the bar twice and the Karori GK made at least 2 great saves in the 2nd half. In regards to the older fella and Shmidt, the former played about 10', the latter 5'.

But anyway, well done to Karori and a well deserved win.
