easy for Olympic from the glances I took (was watching us play Petone most of the time). Fiji B scored in the last minute to get some respectability. Olympic do look the goods though.

Saw bits and pieces of the first half.  Greeks missed a pen.

Watched the entire match in which Olympic had 3 pens!!!

A lovely Olympic team move resulted in a beautiful 4th goal to round out a good day and ensure Olympic top place in the group.

Wairarapa will surely go into the Premier League as favourites with all their Island players!!!
Olympic playing some good football at the moment with still a bit to work on come the season start.

I think the most disappointing thing for me wasnt Jimi Haidakis' penalty but his dramatic sponsorship switch to Nike!!! Whatever happened to Adidas for life!!!

Nervous wait for petone today.

Here is a hypothetical.

Island Bay win 2-1 which would put them on equal points, same goal diff, same goals for and against, and they also drew with Petone.  So who goes through?  Its not a flip of a coin is it?

Or the Valley win 2-1.

criteria for placings will be firstly; points, then goal difference, then goals for, then the winner of the round robin game between the two sides.

then paper,scissors ,rock?

Is that out of the program?  Tried petone's website but nothing.  I'm sure whatever process they use they will make sure petone gets through

As you'd expect. Home team has to have some advantage.
In all seriouslness, I'm not sure how you'd decide. Maybe (and I'm guessing here) the highest seeded team will go through.
Otherwise and coin toss or draw out of a hat.

Its no longer a problem.

i think it should be decided over the following activities

best of 3

egg and spoon race

pin the tail on the donkey

human wheel barrow race

winner of this must deserve to progress

Perhaps the team with least cards.  After last night performance I'd be inclined to think that IB would sneak through

Good win by Stokes Valley 2 - 0 over IB

Greeks B came back from 0  - 2 to beat BNU B 4 -  3

I think It was 1-1 in the Petone B v Tawa B game.

No, just carrying on from last season. They out- played Petone the week before in losing 2-1. No SURPRIZE in last nights result, Go the Valley.

Ah Ha! Mr Harris, Chelsea and Stokes Valley, eh? I may just have figured out who you are.

As for SV, you've just got to love any team which plays in Partick Thistle colours

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Its no longer a problem.

I seem to remember playing for an under-strength Karori 3rd team and drawing - and I think Karori smashed them in the first round.
Not sure how you go from there to bossing Hilton

Couple of new players -  what a difference!!!!   Stokes Valley were under strength that day as well, only had 12 to select from and Wharfies drop a couple of 1st team players. Having a second team this season for the 1st time in 10 years, be it the African guys will make a difference.

Who pissed on your cornflakes, mysterious stranger?

That's a bit harsh. I think.

If you could retype it in something approaching English, I'd very much appreciate it, then I'd be 100% certain whether it was harsh or not.

Lower Hutt rode their luck to come from behind for a last minute 2-2 draw with Stop Out today in an entertaining match.

Highlights: both of Admir Balicivic's (never did learn to spell that right) finishes.  Both teams played a bit of football and it was an entertaining game from what I saw of it.

Lower Hutt Ressies beat Wharfies 2-0 I think which might not see them through after Marist spanked Stokes Vegas 5 or 6 nil.  In the other game North Wellington lost to Upper Hutt by a few.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Marist 7 SV 0.

Wharfies players think they are out. I think Wharfies and LH finished on same goal diff. I cant find my book to check their rules on who progresses.

what are you clowns on about? That was LHs first win - and SV would be miles behind on GD. We were already through

Defo Marist and Wharfies B through.  That should guarantee Wingbak4eva and Feverish another game.

We are defending champions though. God save whoever gets us in the quarters.
You can watch me and Wingbak in action tomorrow if you want to learn the meaning of the term 'bossing it'
