Why is it naughty? Stop Out were advised that Petone would concede the game and let Stop Out have the points and still let them have a run around.

I understand Stop Out also played someone over age, maybe someone from Stop Out could confirm that.

Obviously someone forgot to tell CF. Points table dosnt reflect this.

Dont forget it is an aged tournament. If you think its ok to play overaged players maybe you shouldn't be involved.
There are lots of other players that could have played that were the correct age. Maybe Petone didn't want a flogging.

The point is "No club should be doing it"

group 1 is all the worst teams. i play for wainui and we dont want to get smahed 15-0 agasint the better sides s it works out ok for us. a 2-2 draw with pouria yesterday and a game we could of easly won and had a good match with wairairapa last week. seeing that you guys hate how upper hutt rig the draw lets all hope theres a few upsets and the dont make it past the group stage

If you have a problem with it take it up with Stop Out management. They oked it. They like most see this competition for what it is.

And I'm not involved with either team, just an informed spectator.

As part of the Stop Out Management team . All of our players that took the field on Saturday qualified as Under 19 players.

Yes Petone did play two overage players but we were informed of this before the game.

With both teams having already qualified for the semi finals both teams wanted to look at fringe players in their squads before finalising their squads for Upper Hutt and Napier.

Better than not playing at all and having the lads from both teams not get a game.

I dont understand what your problem is with it. Both teams agreed so they could have a game.

2 good semi finals to watch this week, I think I'll go Tawa beat Stop Out and not sure between Petone and Olympic, could go to penalities! (It will be hard to see the game under those lights at Petone) I hope the referees let both games flow as these are 4 pretty even sides playing some good footy at times. Good Luck to all the teams.

I see tonights semi is canned until tomorrow night, is it to cold for the young lads? or were they hoping for a clear night  to help them to see as the lights at Petone are poor!

Petone win 3 - 1, should have been more. McKay, McClay and Pickering goalscorers.

Now lets wait for the excuses from Olympic - ref was bias, bad lights, it was never a peanalty blah blah blah, fact is you got beat by a better team.

So Petone and StopOut in the final.

It was bad lighting and the penalty could have gone either way, but didnt matter anyway.

Were looked alright, we just lost.

First time in Ivan Elgnad history we havent mdae final disapointed but no biggie. We looking good.

Petone fans were horrible, there were 20 times more of them then us Greeks but couldnt heear them.

Watched the game last night I really enjoyed it, Petone were the better team on the night, Olympic pretty shaky at the back, and need to lift the work rate, george did the work of 3 players and that probably why he put in a couple of careless tackles resulting in a send off. My view of the pen looked the right decision the  tall Olympic defender pretty clumsy and just pushed the opponent, ref considered it was a pen. Overall a good game by 2 good teams and I thought very well controlled under substandard lighting. One question though why was there only 1 offical surely there could have been linesmen? Good Luck at Napier and UH tourneys.
