The Mainland folk adjust scores to a maximum of 10 goals I believe. Or a difference of ten, not sure. I know of one case last year which had 23 pages of eye witness testimonials submitted in defence of a person like this, against 3 pages to lay the complaint and define what happened. Judiciary threw it out,and seemed to think it was a beef between two of the adults, one per side. Evidence really does need to be irrefutable to get anywhere.

Here you go - hot off the press!

Hi Everyone

We are seeing some staggering scores being recorded in Goalnet.

The Mainland rule is a 7 goal differential.

IE.  8 Nil win is recorded as 7 Nil

A 20 Nil win is recorded as 7 Nil

A 13 to 6 win is OK, then a  12 to 1 win is recorded as 8 to 1

Please have your scores checked in the system and apply the 7 goal differential please.

Regards

Brad Maxwell

That is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in a long time.

*whatever you do don't tell us the actual score*

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Re Rubgy squeezing football...

I play for HSOB and Marist Albion are dead keen to secure our home ground - Edgar MacIntosh (2 football fields).

They have been making noises to the council for a couple of years.

I guess they just assume they can make us move if they feel like it?

Good job for you guys the executive at Bowls Papanui next to Edgar Mac gave the Marist boys the don't come back card.
Bowls Pap had their club facilities, bar, storage of gear etc being used last winter by Marist.
Getting the use of these clubrooms on a full time basis was going to be a tick in a box for why they wanted Edgar mac.

I see the directive from Mainland re submitting scores to 7 goal limit didn't get through to all...

Frustrating when some don't keep to the rules!!! Not fair to those that do.

Several large results showing again..

Mainland at some point will adjust all results to the 7 goal margin. No panic.

14D1 side who were 0-53 in goals after 3 rounds defaulted this week...

Paul Clarke's FC2011 14's who are playing 15's D1 are top of the table

FC2011 and Halswell's 15's who are playing 16's also are first and second.

Coastal Girls 15 yet to have a meaningful game 4 rounds in.

Talked to a coach yesterday who his entire side is NTC/FTC/REP and he thinks the subs are a waste of money, coaches could work out better games than what the Saturday football is.

Mainland adjusting is not the point...(and they don't as you can see if you go through the draws...)

Club's results officers need to start doing what they told. Seems to be the same clubs not abiding!

I've thought of a great way Mainland can enforce this. If you enter a score larger than 7 goals difference the result is reversed to the opposition. Lets see how the results are recorded then...

Mainland still will have to adjust all the previous rounds scores. They have done this at least the last 4 seasons.

There is Just over 300 kids involved in WOF for Selwyn sessions 9.30/10.30 and 11.30.  Amazing amount of organisation goes on to sort that many out.

Anyone hear the rumour about a mainland employee abusing a referee during a junior match today??  Think it was bays v Selwyn?? Maybe 11th grade??

Not a rumour according to the Selwyn PDL boys at Waimak today. Some of them were there at the Selwyn/Bays 11th grade match in the morning and not impressed with what they saw.

How can it be case closed when we haven't heard what happened and given our binding judicial ruling?

yes but Mainland know what the're doing...

Not sure how they determine a first round winner with some teams playing one another several times?

Permalink Permalink

And some not playing others and then getting relegated into a lower division???

is it time to bring back the grading games?

start of season = I think team x should be in div y!
after 3 grading games = mainland decides maybe not.
1st round = 7 games. winner crowned - 1 up 1 down automatically.
2nd round = 7 games + winner crowned
1 up 1 down then random knockout

20 game season! rain days during the first round and first 2 second round fixtures? double headers to finish up quicker and still get the full season.

several
ˈsɛv(ə)r(ə)l/
determiner & pronoun
  1. 1.
more than two but not many.
    2. 4 times in 8 games
    3. a well worn track between Cuthberts Green and Barnett Park S1
