As not so much of a neutral i'd rather not play for Alex or at Chelski!!!

who's the favourite? well as i said, not so neutral, so i'm going Marist all the way, but as far as other people's opinions, I can at least say that we basically play all the same teams from here on in (which kinda makes sense with 6 games left in the round) and we have played each other twice.

Some say Miramar are the best team in capital one with their attack record, yet both times they came up against Marist they lost both times. Marist has an all round balanced team, team effort wins games.

the best team is the one with the most points at the end of the season.

Miramar Lost the first two games of the season without even on the morning of the games having a full team.

Frankie Mac your right again.

My Vote after watching both teams a few times this year goes with Kevins Rangers.

I dont think Marist will drop points unless they lose focus and dont have the support form the seconds. They have to give respect to all the teams in the league before games and then go out and play to their abilty as a team not as individuls.  Its that time of the year where players get lazy and dont train enough, it has been seen frequently with Marist second team this season.  As barber was saying you need the support from your seconds, so when they get the call up to 1sts the players can step up.

Expect the movie version to be released in HD early next year, in time for pre season training

Begs the question, how many Marist 2's players ARE up for it? I just checked how they''re doing and noticed they got bashed 9 - 0 last week.

ouch!!!

Yes, though i did hear the Marist seconds performed a bit better than the last time they played that team!!

Still, part of the reason for the loss was the fact that the Marist 1st team had already taken a number of players from them as they were a few injuries and absences....fortunately with players returning this week and next week the player stocks should be replenished a bit

I also heard they played at Roroa pak in Jvill. Apparently the park smelt like a sewage plant. Add that park to the worst grounds to play at. :D  quality20002007-07-12 11:33:30

Yes the Marist boys have always been a very religious lot and all, you know, no swearing at all (the coach leads the way on that front).

Drinking is kept to an absolute minimum (and anyone who has ever played in the NZ Marist tourny will attest to that)

And im sure no-one has ever felt aggrieved by a Marist players challenge on the park....

I hear Miramar could be without a semi-influential midfielder...?

Yep, we had a good win last week, doesn't look as convincing as I felt it was, Olympic scored two late goals from our own error. Attacking wise I feel that our Liverpool striker is as good as it comes in the league and could step into any Central League squad in the country with ease. Bagged a hat-trick last week, all brilliant goals. Looking forward to this weekends match.

Sure the boys will want to get one back on the first rounds 3-0 win to Marist :)

That at Kilbirnie monkeyboy ?

We've got a 12:30 and assume some of the guys will be rushing off to watch your lot.  I might tag along.

Yup 2:30 at Kilbirnie. My shoulder is still a bit dodgy, so I'm with the second team today at Cobham Park, then coming over on the bench for 1st team.

Good to see Marist is still on top after todays win. 3 more games to win and the league is theirs.

Yeah, 3-2 to Marist, we really let our selves down through some sloppy defensive errors. Well done Marist and best of luck for the rest of the season

Marist 3rd goal was the worst goal I have ever seen.  9 mis-hits, 3 defelections and a toe poke that dribbled into the corner from 15 yards.  Goal should have been disallowed for being crap.

You're only bitter because you had just finished saying 'Naenae look good for a goal', Hard News called you out for placing the commentators curse on it, and then of course Marist score 40 secs later - classic!!!

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

Haha the funniest thing about that 3rd goal was the fact that a defender scored it. A goal was always coming in the last 20mins for Marist. Deserved the win.

What happened to the 10-1 Miramar over Naenae?  Crazy result...

Normo's coming home

i'd be quite curious to know how that came about as well, especially out at Naenae's home ground wasn't it?
