Napier U19 Tournament

Well that makes it interesting as between a few of us that makes 3 players they have approached to 'guest' for them.....

You're allowed an extra guest player if you have player or players away with NZ u17s..

Or a player involved with ASB premiership team.........

Cashmere don't have any U17 reps; but will have quite a few Canty ASB and Canty youth reps.

Yet some of the players they are talking to about joining them are potential Canty Junior Rep players anyway!

It's only if there is a clash with an game for the men's national league so unless Canterbury have a game  ( not sure if a friendly game count's) they can't have an extra player ( I think)....

Does anyone know anything about Oratia, East coast bays, Fencibles, Wellington United or Napier city rovers?

Oratia very good will come close , big .physical

Bays always fit and hard to beat maybe lacking previous years quality

Fencibles big .not bad lack a bit up front will be hard to beat...

Sorry wires crossed re napier. Not aware of players going to wests tbh, but I know they lost their guest player as I found them a replacement on the weekend. He didn't play though.

According to Upper Hutt City Website. Napier played off for 3rd and 4th against Miramar and won to come 3rd over all.

Mar lost to napier on penalties

Ncr had a blond lad up front who was dangerous. Rest of the side weren't up to much

if your in Auckland and wanting to see some U19's games pop down to Ellerslie as we are holding our "Road to Napier" tournament today - games at 9am, 11am, 1pm and a final at 3pm.

Three Kings, Birkenhead and Ellerslie involved.

Yes was Fane Morgan, got a lot of pace and not too bad. 

Good  tournament out at Ellerslie not much in it ..Three kings have the best squad but can they put it all together in Napier ?

Upper Hutt pumped Bay, wharf and Uni drew, Wests won first game 6-0, LH won first game 6-1, and those two are playing and drawing 1-1

Hamilton beat Birko, Birko's first loss in the groups since 09.

Hamilton Wanderers 3-1win over Tawa and 1-0 win over Birkenhead

2 nil over Albany, FC Twenty11 also won 2 - nil in Satillite draw over Kapiti

W United 2 wins over Fencibles and East C Bays. That's already beaten their total points at the end of the tournament in the past few years.

Wanderers won all three of their games and looked very good doing so, big match against Glenfield tomorrow, Birko sitting in third in their group currently, not as strong as in prior years.

Wharf won a good game v Otomotei with help from the chanting Fever. Funny stuff
