Watched bays v 3 kings today,

Interesting game bays dominated most of the 1st hlf to be down 1 nil. Then 1 All and then down 2-1. With about 10 mins to go got 2 late goals. Was a thrilling game to watch on a narrow 3 kings field.

Lucky to get away with but was pretty close game

Melville 0 - Central 4.

Early sending off left Melville with 10 for basically the whole game.

HT 2-0.

Birko 8 (EIGHT) MAP 0

Doloras? What happened?

Three for me, and two for them.

Saw both MAP games in the weekend
Must admit they didn`t turn up against Birkenhead, it doesn`t help when you get a player sent off mid way through the first half.
Don`t think Birko looked as polished as last year.
MAP looked a lot shaper against Metro on Friday. I must admit Metro were better than I expected. Should stay up.

Caught Glenfield v Lyn Avon as well. It`s going to be a long season for the Avon, definately will be near the bottom of the table. Glenfield mid table not strong enough for promotion.

Quiet weekend so also took in ECB v Onehunga Sports. ECB looking fitter and stronger than last year. With Willy G not involved with Waikato this year it looks like they have had a better pre season. Expect them to be chasing Bay O for the title.

And with a key first teamer in 2010 and 2011 returning from the US of A next month they are only gonna get better.

As for Shore, i think their squad depth for a Div 2 side is remarkable. Probably one of the best reserve sides going around including Div 1 and Prem reserves.

Hard to look beyond promotion at Shepherds and Allen Hill in 2012.

Three for me, and two for them.

Buffon what happened in the Shore v Waiuku game Saturday? They were dire on Monday, thought Shore would have cleaned them up. Heard Waiuku had a sending off and were very lucky to gain a point, although they said it was the same ref as Monday which would explain a few things.

Waiuku keeper had a great game, saved a number of one on ones and other good shots. The Waiuku sending off was with a minute to go and made no difference to the outcome of the game.

Three for me, and two for them.

Wanderers 4 Three Kings 1. Hat-trick for Frishy. Very impressive showing, but Three Kings looked rather meh for a top-half side

Only 4 scores right so maybe a good thing I didn't put and dosh, although 11 winners so not too bad.

Watched Shore v OM yesterday, good open game to start with and OM's goal to open the score was a very nice individual piece of skill combined with some weak defending from Shore.
OM tired 2nd half and Shore could have a had a number of goals, although the 2 they did score were from a pen and a goalkeeper error. Young and Bryson looked dangerous all game with Young winning the penalty.

The Birko-Rovers game was immense. Couldn't believe it when Fletch cocked up that 2nd goal, changed the whole feeling of the game didn't see Birko getting back into it. Then a brilliant pass from Sheldon to Keegan changed the game, 2-2 and only one team in it from there on in. Deserved victory in the end.

In other news Shore are too good for Div 2.

Three for me, and two for them.

Shore did look good and should get promoted but had some weaknesses and will need to strengthen their squad next year if they want to compete in Div 1, assuming promotion. #7 in midfield was lazy and a passenger for much of the game and the keeper looked very shaky, the Shore supporters would have been glad he didn't have much work to do.

Yeah Big T was another good win for us and great position to be in on the table but with tough fixtures to come in the next month or so it's going to be very hard to maintain.

Miracles do happen. I've actually been able to engage in a proper football discussion on the northern league forum. Funny that it's the keepers union bringing maturity to the table over there.

Predictions...can't be bothered with them all so here's some in brief.

Birko by 3+ against FHM.
NSU score draw vs Tauranga away.
Waitak to beat Melville in the bottom of the table clash.
North Force to get their first pts of the season.
TKU-Olympic to be a high scoring draw.

Three for me, and two for them.

Ha doesn't happen often Buffon and still plenty of sh*t stirring taking place over there in other threads.

Will put up my predictions later today when I get a sec.

Big T you got a couple of upsets picked eh, Ngara over Glenfield and Mata over Hibs, home ground advantages?

Nil all Ngara v Glenfield - no shots on target until the 80th min, 2 clear chances for glenfield in last 5 mins and butchered them. Matt Williams and Jason Chewins best on park

Some interesting results today!
Waitak losing 6-1 at home to the Melville kids, what is going on at Waitak?!! Looks like they are hanging out for their ASB Prem players to come back in.
Taka down 7-0 at home to Papatoe, Birko held at home by Forrest Hill and in div 2 Fencibles continue to be woeful with a 2-0 loss to Mangere.
My lot held to 1-1 away to OMU after leading until the 80th minute, feels like a loss! But we'll take an away point, 1 point closer to safety.

Solid. Made one good save from a free kick. First goal was shoddy defending from corner and second was pen so at fault for neither.
