yep Miramar 6-3 Lower Hutt

from what i heard brockie got 3, and a mar defender (right flank) got sent for 2 yellows.  win or draw vs stop out on sat for the mar and that is the title, hutt up 2-0 then 3-1, then concede 5 to lose 6-3 what was going on

Miramar were great from set peices. Scored from 3 free kicks, a corner and a penalty. Hutts goals all came from quick breaks.
Interesting that Hutt changed keepers at half time, maybe radioman can comment on that.

A dog with a bone :)

What was the half time score?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I  thought the Goalkeeping from both teams was poor last night, D Rowe scored from a corner that Nick did even apear to try for. Dom was standing on the goal line. Brockie goal from a free kick ten metres outside the box on an angle flew past Mcpeake , he dived after it  struck the back of the net, hall at the other end was also far from mistake free, I don't think he did very well with either of the first goals. Maybe the lights didn't help, exciting game to watch LH crowd pretty loud when they were twice a couple of goals in front, quiet at the end.

Lower Hutt: officially the second best team in the Hutt Valley!

When was the last time that happened?

A shift in the powerbase maybe?

Lucky they have money, because without their imports they would struggle.

SO 0 - Mar 3 at 3.50pm according to Dairyflat text.

2nd Goal SO keeper chopped down a very dangerous looking Brockie.  Survived with just a yellow and penalty.

FWIW: Miirarmar have been the best team I've seen in the CL this season.

Brockie played WELL.  His movement leading up to the penalty was excellent. (Keeper lucky to get only yellow I thought.)

Great refereeing performance by Mirarmar's right back. Great commentary on every decision (it seemed).

Stop Out get an award for their hard work.
Miramar get a team award for shouting that much football cliche in 90 mins.
Plus a special award for the player who told Alec McDonald that he was a "dog". Made me laugh.

Well done Miramar.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
