In saying that, props to TV3 for roping  in an infectious disease expert to reassure the public they wont get the plague if the go on the field (unless of course they like to lick plastic grass).

I See that the Dim Post has a follow up story this morning which is basically quoting people from here, even Feverish, thats how low they have sunk (and they had the gall to call him a man).

BNU team names traditionally start with P, so I guess Piddlers, and any number of other names could be a goer.

Also re clubroom beer...it is normally piss, if they supplied good local beer such as Tuatara I'd be more inclined to hang around. Big ups to BNU/Island Bay clubrooms at Wakefield Park, who have Tuatara Pilsner on tap at $5, and a good selection of other decent beers in bottles. Come down and join us on a Saturday or Sunday.
