I don't understand the obsession with having a high post count. In my opinion, my new low post count is well and truly justified by getting rid of my old name, which was thoroughly stoopid.

Out of interest, what was your old username? Promise not to judge you...

I almost find my post count embarrassing. 

You should have seen Hard News's post count, he had edited it on the old forum to be only 4000ish, but when this forum started it showed his actual post count. 24,000.

quite happy with my post count, it's no way near New's 26000!!! but says I follow and comment on posts often enough to be actively involved.

Personally I was devastated when the new website came online and found I had been dropped to the Bench (part timer)

A week later they found my missing posts and I`m back to "First Team"
