4-0 Penha another. I will be staggeringly disappointed if we can't knock off Glory on Wednesday. But hey with the Nix anything is possible....
Based on this performance, the fact the Glory have a day less recovery time - anything less than a Nix win would be very poor. Still, this is the A-League, so anything is possible, take nothing for granted.

Melbourne Derby & CCM/SYD both on at the same time, wish I could watch both of them. Ugh
That so many games this season have been scheduled simultaneously is bad enough; that you can't watch one game without them cutting to progress reports of the other is a travesty.

Not only is this extremely irritating if you were planning to watch them one after the other without knowing the scores but it seems to make no commercial sense, as it means watching the second game is a waste of time, thereby effectively reducing consumption of your own product.

A Game we should win comfortably but knowing the nix, I think you are right. Perth looked woeful and their best players are out.

Draw would be a cracking result for us. But to be fair, any result from this one is good.

Victory vs Roar is also a big game, Victory get the win & they are breathing down City's neck.

Cavallo made to look a bit of a chump there. Far too easy.

A pity such an important game is being played on a Tuesday in almost zero crowd atmosphere.

Sydney visibly seized up after that equaliser. They know they are one false move away from missing the finals.

Goodbye Sydney!!

Goodwin seals it in the last minute.

I'm in Sydney for GF weekend and it is gonna be in Melbourne, FMyLife.

Grant found wanting for both those Goodwin goals. He hasn't been the same since he cut off that mullet.

Pathetic defending from WSW to allow 10 man Mariners to grab an equaliser in the last seconds.

FT 2-2

Sydney fined & have had two losses turned into 3-0 losses over not having enough u23's on the bench

Da Villa is playing some excellent form. I wish he was still here. Him and Gael could have been an attacking spearhead.

Actually the 2nd half was pretty good. Roar played some very decent attacking footy with the kids to the fore. Were the better team and didn't deserve to lose. Uli was basically the difference.

Except we would not have picked up Gael if Davilla had stayed (which I would have preferred) - I'm sure he did the right thing for him and his family.

So many last minute winners of late. Jets didn't deserve to lose. Can't help thinking their that if their keeper had been more alert he could've cleared that late long ball into touch with relative ease.

Shaping up that you will need 37 points to make the Top 6 this season (we probably need 38 cuz of our terrible GD)

34 Points: Adelaide - Glory (H), Roar (H), Western (H)
33 Points: Wellington - WSW (H), Victory (A), WSW (A), City (A)
32 Points: Macarthur - Western (A), Victory (H), Jets (H), WSW (H)
31 Points: Sydney - Victory (H), Roar (A)
30 Points: CCM - Jets (A), Western (H), Roar (A), Jets (H)
25 points: Jets - WSW (A), CCM (H), Macarthur (A), Western (H), CCM (A)
