I'm impressed with what Aloisi is getting out of this WU squad But there is always the feeling that if Diamanti gets injured their bubble will burst, he is that central to their success.

Western win, Roar are in real trouble this season.
No Davila, Hemed or Rodwell in the WSW v MAC have. I'm going watch Adelaide vs Victory I think.

From the commentator for the women’s first game (who was a billion times better than Harper because I guess he was still more of a football guy and less of a media guy):
A league football “You can crunch someone in this competition, but the technical stuff will get you sent off”ie time wasting etc

Brimmer blasts over an open net, oh dear.
Yengi gets a yellow for a dive in the box

Macarthur score vs WSW. Not at all impressed by either Western or Macarthur but they are finding ways to win.

Macarthur scores again. 0-2
Velupillay taps one in to put Victory back ahead. 1-2

Davidson gets a second yellow. Adelaide has 5 mins to find an equalizer.

Sydney have been struggling so far this season, I fancy the upset here

UPDATE: Perth Glory’s worst fears like look being confirmed, with Queensland heath authorities set to rule the entire squad and staff are “close contacts” of the COVID-positive player.https://t.co/Y8BEWaSBa4 pic.twitter.com/FgKgdp8q8w

So the Glory have 1 ALM case, Jets have 2 ALM & 1 ALW cases, Western have 1 ALM case

Western with another 1-0 win last night. I don't think they are that great but are finding ways to win. It must be nice.
Oh and they confirm that a 2nd and 3rd player have tested positive for covid ...

Oh wow. Yes they have been doing the main things right. Defending, scoring their chances, getting fine contributions from their import.
Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

That's awful from Moresche. Urena puts it on a plate but Moresche just jogging and misses a tap in by a few feet.

Goddard finally puts CCM ahead. Robinson is gonna get sacked soon

Wanderers defence comes apart, Goddard whacks in for 1-0.
WSW lose this and surely Robinson is in trouble.

What’s the fall out of the Covid cases?
All members of the Glory are in Hotel Isolation in Brisbane cuz they flew into Queensland & Pacifique Niyongabire tested positive. Other cases have happened in States with less strict protocols, so business as usual it appears.

What a way to celebrate your 100th game for CCM, Bozanic free kick to make it 2-0

Don’t wanna jinx it but it’d be freakn great for the league if the Victory could get a result here.

Jinxed it. Sloppy Victory. Attacking 1-0 up in possession, cheap turnover and weren’t able to deal with the counter.
Had the City RB or RCB having done a hammy, but didn’t attack there.

That last 5 minutes was total madness. Maclaren a straight red for I'm not quite sure what.

Well, that’s gotta be an example of what the plan is for derbies.
Popovic and the heritage of Victory v the City Football Group juggernaut with end to end attack, a tense seesawing game fought to a standstill and a red card. Throw in a decent WU team with Diamanti and Melbourne have some football going on there.
Hopefully that’ll bring in some punters!

Kurto with a straight red for a DOGSO. Jets put the ball in the back of the net as King whistles for the red. King should have played advantage but I dunno if he can, this is one to ask Chris Kerr.
