Victory are one of the best teams in the league on their day and should win easily. However being a one off then anything can happen.

Recently they've also been forced into playing one of the worst keepers in the league. In fact this game has 2 of them. Hoping the pressure gets to them for the lols

KGJ the ref. That's a disaster in the making.

That is horrendous defending.

I hope City come back with 2 goals and then go on to score the winner in the 5th minute of 2 added minutes at the end of the second half of extra time - and that it's blatantly offside by 6 metres, just to see Muscat's priceless reaction.

Broxham should have been off there.

Amazing how many chances City have had. MV have had basically two and put them both away.

Permalink Permalink

Yep the chances just keep coming too - they could've had this. They're playing like we did toward the end of the season. The opposition take the few chances they create and walk away with the result.

I really rate Jaliens, he deserves to be in a better team. I'd take him in a heartbeat as a centreback perhaps if we had a couple of import slots.

Yep, after a bit of a rocky start at the Jets he's been very good. Problem is he's even older than Dura and Siggy!

Wouldn't mind seeing Novillo in a stripey though. Imagine him and Burns running at defences.

Ouch didn't know that. Definitely plays with the energy of a younger man, very lively and was involved in everything.

$195, $120 & $70 for adult tickets to the GF. Only 3.1k tickets for the away fans.

Fudge no, go Reds.

I'm in Canberra right now so I can watch it legal and free on SBS. :D

Sydney vs Victory and Adelaide vs Victory would both be great show downs. I think Sydney will be too good though.

I fancy them to beat MV.

Is it just me or is this the most sharktest build up to a Grand Final ever? These last two games have been crap - the home sides have been running rampant over sides who just aren't turning up. I still hope Victory are robbed though - just can't handle those faggots thinking that they're God's gift to football.

Mods - you may want to auto-correct the word 'faggot'

should be a great final

Sydney better team for sure but the Reds are paying the price for not putting away two great chances.

Surely even Australians can manage to follow a 90 minute football game without needing not one but two fudgeing gigantic TV screens. Massive overkill.

He's wearing blue. That's why.

This game has been a carbon copy of the last. Sydney have had only 4 chances and scored 4 goals. Adelaide have had a lot more but have been absolute pants in execution.

Victory vs Sydney is probably the final this season deserved, so glad to see it happen. Could be a high scoring game, with Victory all over Sydney but coughing up goals on the counter. Dunno who will win it tbh

Permalink Permalink

The better team won but if you were a Reds fan you'd be asking why Adelaide weren't playing against ten men for the last 15 minutes.

Will probably be a fractious, card-strewn 0-0 draw decided on penalties.

This is exactly what happened last time it was Tards vs Sharkney
