Picking Brisbane to upset Adelaide tonight, Roar have been improving whilst Adelaide are stumbling. Roar also beat Adelaide twice in Adelaide this season.

Going for 2-1

Yeah I think Brisbane too. My two least-favourite teams. I won't be watching cos going to see Suffocation at Bodega.

I like tautologies because I like them.

put 20 on Brisbane tonight @ $4 so would be nice if they won.

Allegedly

Adelaide did smash City in the last game, and they're at home. On the other hand Brisbane won in Adelaide a couple of weeks ago... I think that Adelaide will win it in extra time or on penalites

Adelaide to win in normal time.

C'mon Brizzy!!!! we need them to win this game and then beat Melbourne... So, if we can win our 2 games... WE HOST THE FINAL!!!!!!!

Two factors slightly against Adelaide: no Bruce Djite and being forced to play at Adelaide Oval which is a horrible venue for football and undermines their home ground advantage a bit. Still picking them to win though.

Wow they picked a bad stadium for this game? What was wrong with their usual rectangle stadium. Seats are so far back.

Gombau wasn't happy about it either. Their usual stadium only fits 18,000 but I don't know how many more than that they will get tonight.

That is an absolute corker.

18k isn't many but a semi final in a full stadium looks better for marketing the league then a semi final in an empty giant stadium.

Shark ground or not it's been a really good opening 20 minutes of football.

Has been a cracker. Great goal from Broich!

Broich is such a good player. Goes down a bit too easily for my liking but he is not only very skilful but a hard worker as well, as that goal showed.

Very composed when he won the ball as well. A lot of A League players would, and have, lost the plot with that opportunity. Can't give Broich even a sniff of the goal.

Excellent game with the better team winning. My mood soured slightly by hearing that our play off will be refereed by Ben Williams.

Now we have to go to Melbourne next week if we win. I remeber saying awhile ago that I thought Young was a good keeper despite his poor start to the season.

Just great, Ben trying to show impartiallity so he can get the Final, means we will be whistled off the park as well as kicked off it literally without city suffering any consequences.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

To be fair it could just as easily go the other way with him but, yeah, odds are it will go against us in some bizarre and controversial fashion. You only have to go back to the last time he stiffed us against Heart/City. Kisnorbo deliberately handles the ball on the line to stop a goal but Ben who is just five yards away is the only person in the stadium not to see. Would've been a penalty, a red card and probably 2-0, instead a few minutes later he buys a blatant dive from Socceroo golden boy Harry Kewell and Sigmund gets sent off. I still fume about that travesty to this day.

Recorded the game and watched it this morning. Cracking game of football, shame about the result from a Nix perspective.

Time to revive this thread? I'm predicting Victory 3-1 in normal time and Sydney to win on penalties for this weekend's games

I want a Big Blue GF, both teams are the most deserving and would be the best final. Both Adelaide & City have the habit of not turning up & getting smoked.

I'm finding it very hard to get excited about either of these games this weekend. Nothing to do with the games. All to do with us getting knocked out.

Agreed, watching this is going to make me dejected and pissed off all over again at our late season flop. Sneaky part of me hopes City gets up and spoils the party.
