For the next season Tegal has applied to join League system, at this stage I will probably promote him by relegating michaelme into "non league". They haven't tipped since week 1. But if they become active again, or we have more people wishing to play the next tipping league season, the 442 forums would be an option to drop out to make room.

Over seasons 2 & 3 of the comp, I wanna run the cup competition. So I would love to get enough people to add a League Two, because 32 people is so much nicer for a knock out competition. If I can't do that, I will add some non league tippers (aka people I hit up on twitter during cup rounds) so we can have 32 people. We have 6 rounds for this, so the semi finals will be run over two legs.

You could work out a way to give people byes. As long as you end up with 8 in the 3rd round or 16 in the second (though I can't work out a way that is possible),you're ok. The problem is those who get the bye are hugely advantaged in a situation where they get a free pass through 2 of the 5 rounds.

You could always put the teams that scored the lowest number of points in the first season into the playoff spots (not necessarily the teams that were relegated), as a way to reward those teams who have done well in the league.

Missing tips from hepatitis, joseph, Oi Oi Edgecumbe, michaelme, CloneMM, wolfman, N-Bomb & I-I-Iffy currently.
Also whilst checking who tipped, I noticed I had missed a post by CloneMM with their tips for last week. They got 6 points, rather than the 0 I posted. That means they win their match up against newzealandpower, rather than the draw. I have updated my copy of the table to reflect this and will double check all the results again.

Is it possible to join in the tipping?
SurgeQld & Tegal have just started this past week, and I have got them playing pre-season match ups until I am able to start a League Two proper (Round 8). Leagues have 8 players in them, so if you wish to play, there would be room for another 5 players if others are interested.
