I am stoked that Brisbane won tonight - helps our cause a bit. And it is good to see Rojas score a perfect header - a carbon copy of a Chris Greenacre goal years and years ago.
Be interesting to see if that changes with the Nix verus Auckland derbies. Those clowns at the VUC game, shows that it would be naive to not at least be prepared, for some chance (small) of trouble
Sounds like the Roar game had issues with the Queensland Police as well.
I went to the WSW game in Week 1, it was so strange seeing Cops everywhere. Not something we get at the Stadium.
Outside Suncorp.
Why the need for hands on people? I know this is a short video but looks like a group of fans making their way to a match 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ https://t.co/MaoohOIeUJ
Meanwhile in Vegas. Rugby leeeeeeague fans in Sin City, what could go wrong.
The news won’t show this cause it doesn’t suit their agenda but will twist all the football fans getting assaulted by police and blame it on the Sokkah https://t.co/wXqPaou0T0
Looked like the cop shoved that kid for clapping his hands? No wonder they have problems at games if the cops are provoking people.
I have no idea what happened. I'm pretty sure looking at a 5 second video does not give you the full picture. That said all of this RBB stuff bad news and the security and police should have a de-escalation strategy.

yep, no doubt if there were shenanigans then they would have been cropped and don't tell the whole story, bit like var. Still, based on that short clip the reaction looks unnecessary. Combined with some of the other information coming out, it doesn't look like a proportionate police response.
Those fans actually looked pretty relaxed and that cop put himself in danger by isolating himself from his support. Especially when he appears to be the provoker. Yes, only a short clip and who knows what led up to it BUT the body language of everyone in that clip was relaxed. no one appears to be mouth off.
The term/technique Number 8 is looking for is AWOCA. Asking, Why, Options, Confirming, Actions. A well known Technique and followed by using de-escalation techniques. To me, this Cop was trying to move people along but with a more than subtle hint of "Or Else".
Really looked like WSW would be challenging for the title for the first 3rd of the season, big implosion, if they don't get their shark together they won't be in the 6.
Yeah, I notice Rudan seems to always be sitting down on the bench watching in his last couple of games compared to his usual selfRyan

Wonder if rudan is under pressure.
They extended his contract a few weeks back. Hope they stay together for the next few years Need to watch last night presser, this is cardio workout for me 😂

I think we broke him with the "2-0, loser" moment. The wheels have come off since then.
Interesting tidbit from commentary. The Victory play at Amy Parks in 6 of their last 7 matches. The away trip to Wellington the only time they have to travel. They could make a late run with that kinda schedule.

I'd put Sydney in the possible late-run category too. Only two of their last eight games are outside of NSW.
