What's happened? Is it just poor HAL sides (Adelaide bottom, WSW 6th and Roar 5th but closer to last than first)? 

Glancing at the match report, Brisbane seemed to be playing a fairly strong squad so I'm not sure what's going on. Interestingly, Ulsan had

Dimitri Petratos in their starting XI so maybe he was able to give them the inside word. The match attendance is listed as 1303 which seems to suggest that the competition isn't of great importance to the fans at this stage.

Aussie sides that do well in the ACL focus on defending & fast counter attacking. None of these 3 are playing like that.

That is true. Strange that WSW did so well against us playing that way and a way they have been successful in the past playing, but other than that game have been focused on possession football.

Elrich scores but is ruled out by a very tight offside call & Jiangsu goes straight down the park and makes it 2-0

Babalj with a late goal but it isn't enough to stop Adelaide losing 2-1

Roar lost 3-0 away at Kashima tonight
