3-0. Guess that leaves the hopes of the A-League on Adelaide's shoulders going into the final round

Muang Thong go 1-0 up & in the process of trying to save the ball, Young hits the post and gets hurt. Subbed off straight away.

Caught his arm on one of the bits that hold the net it seems. Pre-game the Ref made them redo the nets, so they are obviously not great standard.

Disgraceful that they played with those if they are sticking out in such a way that they can hurt a player. You would hope the AFC does some investigation into it.

WOUNDED Brisbane Roar goalkeeper Jamie Young needed 26 stitches in his arm after cutting it on a broken net hook in his 3-0 AFC Champions League away loss to Thai club Muangthong United on Wednesday night.

Eugh, that is disgusting.. Poor Jamie. Definitely should sue, and it has come at the worst time, now that Brisbane's goalie stocks are running thin.

Might need Jade North to fill in as a goalie for the final!

ADELAIDE United chairman Greg Griffin has revealed the cost of playing in the AFC Champions League has forced his club and Brisbane Roar to consider withdrawing from the tournament.

With Adelaide still in the hunt to progress, Griffin said the club may incur losses of more than $200,000 by the time its Group H sixth match is complete on May 9 at Hindmarsh, against China’s Jiangsu Suning.

Both Adelaide vs Jiangsu & WSW vs Shanghai SPIG play tonight at 10pm.

To progress, Adelaide need to win & hope Jeju loses to Gamba (possibly could with a draw with Adelaide scoring a few for the GD but not sure the actual tie breaker). This could be Amor's last game in charge, talk is he won't be re-signing for next season.

Adelaide dominate but go down 0-1 to a late winner. Jeju won 2-0, so in the end it really didn't matter.

That is all the Aussie sides knocked out now.

Have to give it to the fans, 6000 is a decent crowd for the season United have had..

The Roar were fined $US3000 for letting two photographers onto the field of play without AFC permission and a further $US10,000 for not properly feeding a six-person AFC delegation.

Under AFC rules, the Roar were required to provide three "international buffet style" meals at their own cost to the group, which included five referees and the match commissioner, each day from their arrival in Brisbane to the day after the match.

The AFC also slapped Muangthong with a $US10,000 fine on Friday for using goalposts that failed to comply with the laws of the game and posed a danger to players.

The Roar have 2 play off games in order to qualify, if they succeed they will be in Group E

Brisbane will host either Myanmar's Shan United or the Philippines Football League champion on Tuesday, 23 January 2018.

Should Brisbane progress, a final qualifying match will take place away against Tianjin Quanjian, who finished third in the 2017 Chinese Super League, on Tuesday, 30 January 2018.

Well done Ceres Negros! No fluke of a win this, they thoroughly deserved it.

Be surprised if Aloisi survives this one.

Ceres–Negros Football Club, commonly referred to as Ceres–Negros or just Ceres, is a Filipino football club based in the city of Bacolod, Negros Occidental that plays in the Philippines Football League.

That result is a big plus for football in the Philippines as basketball is the number 1 team sport here.
