Oh dear. Brilliant weaving run from Marco, puts it on a plate for Elvis who scoops it over from 6 yards.

This game stinks of an added time equaliser

Would've been totally undeserved. Game turned into a slog 2nd half and a bit nasty too. One of the weirder headbutts I've seen on a football field.
Victory hold on for a 1-0 win.
0-0 at half time in the Glory game whilst the Victory concede early
Both teams lose 1-0.
Yokohama take the early lead from a deflection
Yokohama makes it 2-0, Sydney are being totally outclassed here
3-0!! Sydney's defending is an utter shambles
Do Sydney still actually play in the A league ??
Seems like such along time since they have been sighted there.
Yokohama are A. Postecoglu's side, right?
While I enjoy bad things happening to the Smurfs, this is embarrassing for the whole A-League as the Smurfs have run rings around everyone this season (except us, lol)

Yes Ange Pot's Yokohama Marinos. He must still be the best coach to ever grace the A League.
But yes an embarrassing result, esp given Yokohama are still effectively in pre season (J League starts this weekend), Sydney were pretty much at full strength, and would have been well rested - having not played since 19th Feb 31st Jan. No excuses.
Makes you wonder how WSW ever won the AFC Champions League.

Arnieball has never worked in the ACL, the only way to get results for A-League teams is to defend and counter (Popaball). Glory were very unlucky, they lost to a late deflection. They will be the only team with a chance to progress out of their group.
Whoops date corrected.
Almost 3 weeks without a game, but then Yokohama don't start their J League campaign until this weekend.
Soccerway says Sydney only had about 31% possession. Ange's tika taka wins out.

Sydney face off vs Jeonbuk Hyundai tonight.
Kosta rested by Corica ahead of the Big Blue
0-0 at half time
Terrible call awards Sydney a penalty and a red card for the opposition. Currently 2-1
Sydney concede late for a 2-2 draw.

such a shark ruling......

if I was the club i'd be super keen to get access to the ACL, sure its a cost but your sponsors would love/pay for the exposure.
The sweet, sweet, exposure dollars.

[Edit: Hmmm, that article has dates have different dates for the Sydney/Victory games. eg Sydney's first game is on the 19th & this article says its the 20th. Guess it might be adjusted for time zones?]
Glory kick off the ACL restart tonight. This won't be pretty
$26 for Shanghai Shenhua to win by 4 or more goals. Gonna put a cheeky fiver on that
Glory down by 2 at HT. Tando with a howler just before the break.
Glory get one late to make it interesting but they lose 1-2. Much better effort than I expected
