those two sponsors have ruined the strip. That's just saved me a lot of money. Thanks Anchor ;-)
I should let everyone know that the fun-loving communists at Tamaki AFC have designed their own knock-off shirts, this should be fun

So they're too cheap to buy the real things? Or dont want to be seen supporting a capitalist venture?

Because they want to put tino rangatiratanga flags and suchlike on them

Could do that on the official ones and support the club as well.

The shirt itself I will begrudgingly admit is quite clean, but that sponsor is way too big. And the crest still looks like a fake team badge on Pro Evo or something.

How long ya reckon before they give it a redesign? I give the crest 5 years tops

I think the design is ok but needs to be more of a contrast to its background.

Would have looked nice with blue and white hoops and the crest on the white hoop.

I don't mind the anchor branding, better than McDs or other usuary sponsors some teams have. does not mean I will buy one, maybe just put an anchor label on my kings shirt and wear that. a nod to the lineage

Yeah it is very hard to see the crest on the shirt, would stand out much better if the crest was gold

Fair play to them, they are getting out and about the local clubs.

Hopefully this is a long term tactic rather than just for this seasons launch.

Kit reminds me of my old local clubs kit (blauwe-zwart) in NL. Was always quite smart but will never like that combo as a result 😂

Oh yeah, they have their first pre-season match against Auckland United on Wednesday.

I was hoping they might stream it somewhere but I guess with nothing announced about it by now it's not gonna happen.

I don't blame them, they probably don't want to broadcast their clubs first ever kick around too far and wide, but I would've been interested to have a watch

Was that their actual club name? If so that is the most Dutch thing ever "Ja, well of course, dit is our colours, so"

Absolutely 😂 based in Wassenaar (north of Den Haag). Think they’ve merged with another local club who played next door over the years :

Hasn't been given a signing number like other main signings, so I assume he is a scholarship deal?

Hasn't been given a signing number like other main signings, so I assume he is a scholarship deal?

One of the better young goalkeepers around the domestic scene for a little while now. Confident he'll be the #2 at least. Deserves his shot.

Some real depth growing in the goalkeeping department in this country.

Had confirmation on this as well that this is on a full deal, and not on a scholarship signing. He's going to start as their #2.

Strange his announcement wasn't given a signing number then.

So Corica & Jonathan Gould must be happy enough that Woud can do the job as no 1 GK. Hopefully for his stake he starts the season well, with no clangers.

Can still see a few 'dodgy keeper' chants at the ROF for that first (Round 2?) derby game!

Woud as #1 keeper is a huge call given his track record, good luck to him but I feel this may come back to bite Auckland. Knowles is also good, but that feels like a very thin GK Union from the outside looking in.

Not that we're in any better position at the moment!

I would have happily taken Knowles at the Nix. There's more than enough there to work with, he's a good age if they're looking to develop him over the next couple of years and he has a good level of experience at the Northern/National League level.

Far less risky than say someone like Dublin Boon as well. Well in my opinion anyway.

Moot point now anyway.

Would and Knowles working with one of the best going around in the business right now as well. He should be able to whip them well into shape.

The Jersey is quite nice but that Crest sucks big time. A Generic from EA Sports FIFA Manager 14.

Sakai got the 012 signing number & Rogerson the 013 number. Knowles without a number like those on Scholarship deals. I normally wouldn't question YHM but they have a system they are keeping too.

Spotted this on the bus this afternoon...

Didn’t know they had those seats in helicopters.
Recaro's as common in a Bell/Eurocopter as it is a 747, bus, or your classic sharkbox boy racer car.

Don't think you'd get "stop" buttons on helicopters, though.
