Sounds like he will stay. Question is, with us or Auckland if his partner has family up there??

Didn't expect the article to mention his partners name. Thought stuff like that was normally omitted.

Don’t think BK will care he tagged her on his post on Instagram
But yeah kinda unusual for them to do that…

Qantas , serving Wellington on and off the pitch 😂

I remember out of the 1980s was a similar story with the ABs. Mike Brewer meeting his Irish wife, who was a stewardess on a flight with the All Blacks.

I imagine McConie does yes favour pies over paellla. And yes Kraev's little 25 yr old brother Andrian is apparently now off contract! He's a midfielder at
Levski Sofia
. Played his whole career in Bulgaria, but yeah 8 caps for the national team. As recently as November last year.

Famously, Australian ex-politician Paul Keating met his Dutch then wife Anita when he was a young MP for Bankstown on a KLM flight where she was a stewardess. He flirted outrageously with her till she told him that "you cannot flirt with air hostesses, you can only propose to them" , and he did, right then and there. She took up the proposal some time later.

This doesn't fill me with optimism, he will stay.  Someone else will offer him more money no doubt.

He has stated his and his partner's wish is for the child they are expecting to be born in NZ. For that to happen, he may decide that money is not the most important factor right now, and sign on for another year at the Nix for less money than he might otherwise be able to get, in order to facilitate that wish.

Unless the team offering more money is Auckland FC...

I get the feeling the offer is somewhat less then he was on previously hence having not signed yet. Presume it was the same for Oskar.

You think?

I know dollars talk but I don’t think they would disrespect him that much. Maybe the same coin and he is thinking I have proved myself over the last two years when I arrived as a potential hit or miss import.

The signing of Rojas indicates that the owners are not afraid to spend a little coin in challenging times

Kraev turned up as an international. Something that he is no longer. He came highly regarded so was likely on big coin already. Marco might be on a play to pay deal, who knows.

Money talks. I assume we offered what we thought was a decent offer to him but WSW offered something better.
