Should have no more than a yellow for Broich.

The test is whether no referee would have given him any card for that, including a yellow. They might not be able to argue that. It did look like Broich was trying to stop Mitchell. And he can be a sneaky cunt with things like that.

Another painfully absurd decision. For the life of me I can't see any way Broich could get a straight red for that, unless he called the ref a cunt in the confusion.

The refereeing this year has been downright awful.

All the big name refs are not getting used.

How many referees this year are doing their 2nd, or 3rd game. We've had 3 of them and this chap is doing his 3rd too.

The problem is not the referees. Its the idiots appointing inexperienced referees over the big name ones. I think we can agree after 9 rounds, its not been this shocking in any other season.

 I don't think it's just the newbies having shockers, even some of the more experienced refs have made some random calls

Had we have the big names getting used more often, we would be looking at less shockers... How many games has O'Leary done this year? For a guy thats in the WC program, you would think he would trump their lot.

 Clone Strebre. Although he did have that one game in which he made some bad calls. Still better than the rest

I actually regret watching that game. Dreadful apart from that tiny bit of Henrique comedy.

 Roar probably did deserve it but couldn't say it was clearly in their favour.
