Anyone else keen to give this a go for another year? Fox Sports's Fantasy A-League competition is the best one around, and we've had a Fever League in it for the past few seasons.

To join our league, head to http://aleaguefantasy.foxsports.com.au/, choose the players you want on your team, then click on League and join aprivate league. Our league code is 2086-461.

If you were part of the league last season, congrats, all you need to do to be a part of it again is to just create your team, you'll automatically be added.

I had a team and was in a league with Friends last year. If can be in more than one league then I'm keen to play in Yellow Fever one as well.

Excellent, I'm in.. Always a bit of fun and it adds more to other games that the Nix aren't in. Apart from hoping all the other teams lose.

I'll give it a go although I don't tend to know many players outside the Phoenix.

Actually found last two years doing fantasy I learnt more about the other teams and their players. Was good!

Krishna seems a good 3rd pick striker, he is cheap but we know he is giong to be used a lot this season

Sucks you can only have three phoenix players - tried to have a nix mid field with doyle and then all the best strikers and defenders but had to cut some nix players.

Theo is out for the first 8 weeks, so Young should be a good pick up as your back up keeper cuz he should gain in value. Plenty of value in the defenders with Doyle, Madaschi, McGowan, Hamill & Gersbach who are all 100k and could all be starters. I reckon Keogh could be a snip at 250k.

[Edit: whoops got Sim & Kim mixed up, my bad *blushes*]

The trick of this game is to do well in the first two rounds and identify cheap players who will likely play. After that point most teams start to look similar as some players are clearly good value for money. It seemed like just about every team had Troisi after round 3.

Looking at the Citeh squad they look very thin on defenders. The Fantasy people also think Ian Ramsay is a defender? Weird, always remember him as a jammy midfielder.

I'll give it a second season with Stokies.

Are we doing a Head to Head League ?

He is being converted to a left back cuz City don't have any

Risky strategy... looks like they only have 5 or so defenders! Which includes injury prone Paddy Kisnorbo...

They may score 3 a game but no good if they are leaking 5 at the back. Just ask Manchester United.

I'm in. At least my team can't be worse than my EPL one...

I agree that's important. But you do need to evolve your team over the season as well, pick up on trends (Like when Phoenix were smashing it mid-season). Play the form and fixtures, classic fantasy stuff.

this is harder to pick than my epl fantasy , 1st year doing a league fantasy . all my 3 phoenix picks are in the midfield. but its weird how much I don't know about other teams players considering I see most of them on tv every week

He's expected to play this weekend. Sydney are missing Ibini and Janko though.

Never been a big fan of fantasy in the A-league due to small amount of teams.

But! It is fantasy football and I just can't get enough. MLS, EPL, Serie A, Ligue 1, Championship.... god damn.

Do I have a problem?

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Yep - and the fact that I wanted more nix players than I was allowed makes me insane right? Should be trying to fill the team with Roar players or something like that.

35 points from last nights game (5 played), had Berisha as my captain which helped fix the fact I had 3 WSW players.
