This is going to sound like a stupid question, but can you get an assist for a goal that you then go on to score, i.e. get the points for both the assist and the goal? I know that when a player gets fouled in the box and then someone else scores the penalty, the player originally fouled gets points for the assist, but does it still count if the fouled player then takes, and scores, the penalty?

My squad could beat most other squads in the YF league but certain players just aren't getting points. Culina had been getting me 2 or so points for to many weeks in a row so I sold him and then he goes and gets 16 the other week. Ridiculous. Slipped to 51st. Fail.

So I added a D-bags Utd team full of the most horrible players in the A-League. Suffice to say the contingent from Perth sits at 4, the most you can have from any one team. Making a late charge for the title starting next round.

I've had a complete mare - I've got four from Brisbane, three from Adelaide (who don't play this weekend), Kevin Muscat who is suspended, Siggy who won't be playing now that the Nix game is off and David Williams who is injured. That's ten of my squad who aren't playing this round.

So I got back from the holidays, finally remembered to update my squad. Really good to see that for the last month or so Ifill has been my captain, and Greenie has also been starting. Also stoked to see that I've been using Cullina and McKay to good effect, really really good. Also happy that last time I looked at it I was winning YF, now I'm 13th.
Took a 12 point hit bringing in a whole lot of quality, then, awesomely, our/Roar game has been postponed for the weekend and Radelaide aren't playing. God, I'm on fire at the moment.
