Just Flabbergasted. I've just read the last 109 posts on this thread and not sure whether to say "Holy Fudge", WTF or OMG.

This is like a Shakespearian Play - A Comedy/Tradgedy. One trailer I always liked was this one. Would have been a brilliant movie.

"Somethings wrong in the City of Wellington......"

I think the YF should certainly do Rudan a banner for the first West Melbourne game here - If they exist, judging by what's going on over there. One that simply says

"Keep it inya pants".

Imagine if Rudan had orchestrated this move for Singh to Bayern, then Bayern loan him back to Western United thus getting around transfer fees between A League clubs*. Shark would hit the fan!

...Rudan isn't that clever. As can be seen from the last 50 pages. He was outsmarted by the Fever.

So, how is Singh's departure a Rudan issue?

Yeah, nothing to angst over here, apart from another squad spot to fill. Can't be anything but happy about an academy product being looked at by Bayern fudgeing Munich (reserves)

Reckon it's one of the best news stories to ever come out of the Phoenix, personally.

Surely if Singh went to Bayern Munich it would be one of the biggest jumps that there has ever been up out of the A-League? Anyone else been taken to a higher level than that? I guess there must have been a few here and there to possibly comparable clubs but we are talking to Bayern Munich here. Direct from the A-League - from the much maligned Phoenix no less. That would be quite stunning. I really hope it happens for Sarpeet and for the Phoenix. While we'd miss him it would certainly make the club look a whole lot better to other ambitious young players.

If it pans out, will FFA and their various hangers-on keep saying the Phoenix contributes nothing to the League? If getting a young player set up for such a move isn't a pretty big (and free) boost to the Leagues profile I'm not sure what else would be. Surely it means the big boys and their supporters will be looking a wee bit harder in the A-League's direction won't it? And surely thats a pretty decent contribution to the league. Or are FFA and co. so blinded by a few $ in the hand that they don't understand 'bigger pictures'.

Great minds think alike for sure. I didn't see your one. It must be true though.

Amini went to Dortmund, Pasquali to Ajax; only comparable.

Langerak went to Dortmund also. Mooy technically signed by Man City (but never played).

I will never ever have a bad word to say about the football club nor the city or the country, I fell in love with the place. I know there was a certain core of fans that were quite upset with what happened thereafter.

As a football coach who was part of the process of interviewing every staff member, it was very time consuming.

But yes, he only made the decision to leave towards the end of the season. At least the truth has finally come out, albeit in an underhanded and disingenuous manner typical of Rudan.

I think he always was one, we just forgave him for a short time when he sided with us. Leopard doesnt change his stripes. He's always been a cock and looks like he always will be.

We will only get updates about his family when he is under pressure and he need to play the family card. I hope he keeps them out of this in the future. It should about football and football rivalry.

Hiding in the car park pretending to be someone doing covid testing so that he could spy on his players as they arrive to work is perfectly normal behavior.

At least he wasn't using a private investigator this time.
