Two more players have been cleared to play for Kosovo by Fifa.

Melbourne Victory striker Besart Berisha, 31, won 17 caps for Albania, while Mouscron defender Mergim Vojvoda played for Albania's under-21 side until earlier this year.

Kosovo drew 1-1 against Finland in their first competitive fixture in September.

Victory are going to be missing Rojas, Ingham, Troisi and Berisha for their game against the Roar. Will be a rather makeshift forward line.

He is just making his debut? I find that odd.

Kosovo have just been given FIFA status, he was recently allowed to change his allegiance from Albania (played 17 times for them)

Victory are stitching new badges over the old A-League logo and shipping them out as new home kits. Only difference between the new and old kit is the lack of stripes on the shoulders.

This was on the Italian sports news this morning.

It seems Mitch Austin suffered a (alleged) panic attack while on TV.

Wishing him well if that's the case.

Yeh true. He won't be putting his hand up to do things like take penalties.

MELBOURNE Victory’s poor start to the season will be compounded with defender James Donachie set to be ruled out until 2018.

Donachie, 24, is booked in to see a specialist on Tuesday but the early diagnosis is grim with the defender set to be sidelines for at least a few months with a torn quadriceps.

^ That sounds painful - I remember Moss had a similar injury IIRC when playing for another club (Gold Coast?) where after taking a gk he tore a muscle..

Hey, whilst looking for another clip, I found this one which is an interesting one imho. Muscat actually had hair once.....

Actually, looking at that first one again, yes the arm trailed but no way was it forceful enough to get the reaction it did from the Adelaide player, Hughes. He dived! He rolled around, must have been at least a 50 cal round that hit him.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

So they have ended up swapping assistants with each other

Thomas
Roux Deng Niedermeier Brown
Valeri Antonis
Honda Troisi Barbarouses
Athiu

Victory shaping up to have a pretty decent starting XI. Two visa slots after Honda is announced but guessing they will only use one, on a visa striker to replace Athiu up front.

The kit might be gash but I do like they are offering this option for names on the back.

Am I the only one that thinks their kit looks really good?

Not if they put the OptiSlim AND the KFC on the shirt.

They look to have the best squad out there this season.

Starting XI, yes they will have probably the best but they have absolutely nothing off the bench.

A sad loss to football in NZ - a shame the Phoenix couldn't find a similar role for him after he unsuccessfully applied for the head coach role.

But the Victory will be a team I will be following with their three All Whites...
