3 points always suspended Western Sydney Wanderers FC
Wonder what Hemed thinks of his move, as far as I can tell the only game he's done anything in was the one against us.
Rudan is turning out to be another Mourinho, just minus the trophies.
Works in our favour based on head to head between Uffie and Rudan (4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss).
Could be a match made in heaven, or just as equally likely, a slow motion train wreck. Either way, could make for some half decent watching. One thing for sure is that there won't be a bedding in period over there. They'll want results from the get go, so the pressure will ramp up quickly if things don't turn around for them on the pitch.

WSW’s first-team has underperformed for many years, their academy has consistently lost their best players and coaches and their fanbase continues to dwindle in size and voice. It’s a sad situation.
— AussieScout (@scout_aussie) March 13, 2024
WSW sporting director Eddy Bosnar — responsible for handing Marko Rudan a three-year extension — has left the club. Asked whether he’d resigned, Bonsar said "I was never working for the club. I was advising the board, so I couldn't have resigned.” [ftbl]https://t.co/U9tTSc06rH

If he didn’t have an official position he couldn’t have been the person with responsibility for Rudan’s contract. There’s got to be one or two other people avoiding blame here.
Please read, this is being shared around supporters circles and those who have a genuine interest in seeing our beloved #WSW purge the rotten core that's currently dragging us down and return our club to successful ways and with that the return of our fans! pic.twitter.com/4k6tDaPoed

I wonder which club is stupid enough to hire him next.
The Western Sydney Wanderers fan referenced in this story has received a two-year ban, Football Australia has announced today. https://t.co/axn86k1aCR

Iirc, this was one of the guys on the RBB podcast
We are hearing from a source close to us that there are 3 leading candidates to replace Rudan & each owner has their own preferred candidate
— Bay 49 Wanderers (@Bay49Wanderers) May 17, 2024
Alen Stajcic
Afshin Ghotbi (who??!!)
Mark Milligan
We know who we want and it's Stajcic, even if Montgomery amd Kisnorbo were on offer.

Made me want to see something similar about the Nix one day - just a good doco about the history of the club from those that were there in the stands, on the pitch and in the backroom staff
You won't find much quality stuff on the commercial networks. Whenever I visit NZ (god awful TV everywhere in my opinion), ever more thankful for the Aus Govt funding a couple of stations here.
The Western Sydney Wanderers have all but ruled out appointing an Australian as their next coach, with the search for Marko Rudan’s successor centered overseas. Preliminary discussions have been held with 60-year-old American-Iranian Afshin Ghotbi. [ftbl]https://t.co/mBXI6Ic3Fl
— A-League Hub (@AleagueHub) June 8, 2024
Rumours coming out that an Iranian coach is likely to take the helm, we can confirm there is no truth in this. He was on a shortlist of around 30 names. The club is down to 5 experienced names, Afshin Ghotbi not being one of them. #RBTVWSW

Western Sydney sporting director Eddy Bosnar has confirmed the club have a shortlist of six coaches to replace Marko Rudan by the end of the month:

🚨 Alen Stajcic is set to be appointed as Western Sydney’s new manager. Paul Lederer wanted a Dutch coach but was out-voted by club’s other two owners, so left the club. Stajcic is set to be replaced at Perth Glory by Sydney assistant David Zdrilic. [nca]https://t.co/LWF9f3OSGz
