Today's announcement will also confirm many of the long-held rumours about the make-up of the club. Their colours will officially be red, black and white and the club will sport a logo the FFA believes ''blends traditional football with a new look''.

While Parramatta Stadium will host the bulk of their home matches, including their debut as a club against Central Coast on October 6, the Wanderers will also visit Campbelltown Stadium and Penrith's Centrebet Stadium in coming years - and those venues are likely to host the club's W-League and youth league sides.

Young Socceroo Aaron Mooy, 21, will be the first player officially unveiled by the club tomorrow, along with two others, expected to be former Newcastle Jets captain Tarek Elrich and former Socceroo Ante Covic.

More signings are expected to be publicly announced in the subsequent days, with Mark Bridge, Shannon Cole, Labinot Haliti, Michael Beauchamp and Kwabena Appiah-Kubi all having agreed terms.

Recently released Jets defender Nikolai Topor-Stanley is also thought to be close to agreeing a deal.

The right part of the W's kinda look like legs. If the centre ^ of the W's were higher, it could look like a Unicorn. Or am I seeing things?

I think the logo is quite nice, definitely better than some in the HAL. Uniform is ho hum, not a fan of hoops on football shirts personally. Parramatta's a good ground, the stands are close to the pitch and its not too big like ANZ could have been. Always seems to have a good atmosphere for league games at least. Like Patrick said, really depends if people show up though!

On the other hand, the badge/logo is terrible, looks more like a logo of a corporation rather than a football club.

- The Canterbury colours aren't exactly pleasing on the eye

It looks like Filippo Inzaghi may well finish his career at the Wanderers.

I know he is 38, but he has had a good season and if he can still score in Serie A, he could be a good signing for them.

I agree they have a decent DF. I would have like seeing Beauchamp on the bench for us and although it would violate the no dicks policy, both Bridge and Cole would have made good additions to our squad.
