Ouch, he won't be able to play on.

Just quietly I've been quite impressed with the Jets this season. Of course the wheels could fall off big time later in the season but so far they've been solid.

First couple weeks were train wrecks but then GvE changed his formation to suit his cattle. Very similar to WSW imo, solid defence and hit people on the counter.

Jaliens and Burns are good players. Zadokovich I didn't used to rate but he seems to get fired up. Heskey there to bail them out from time to time...and the rest seem to be anonymous, able to play to a plan and useful- and err...is it Taggart scoring hatfuls at the moment? That doensn't hurt either...

Also Kosta seems to have butcher two good chances with bad options so far...

Super goal.

Melbourne should win it from here.

Goodwin can't get on the pitch for the Jets, he really should quit them in January and move clubs.

Boo-urns makes it 2-1 to the Jets.

MV must be regretting signing Contreras. He's been horrible so far. Made a hash of that clearance leading to the goal.

They also have Ansell waiting in the wings, he looks a great prospect.

The game here is too fast for Contreras. Probably thought it was going to be an easy payday but he's finding it tough.

Jets have a fantastic record against the Victory. They are playing pretty well and the Victory have Muscat as coach now.

Victory couldn't finish a sandwich atm.

Jets win, Muscat out?

Fark that is a good win. I am green with envy.

Jets deserved to win, but regardless that result does not help us.

I think we're already beyond worrying about that....

Victory are in desperate need of a striker. They create so many chances but have no one to put them away.

Costa was very poor in this game. Plenty of pace but not a lot of football brains. He should have scored.
