He's unlikely to get a pro starting gig elsewhere, so if Ernie wants him I imagine he'll stay.

You know we belong together...

Heavily linked to the Glory. He wants to get his Aussie citizenship, so that rules us out.

Jake McGing off to Poland, as of now. New team currently second-bottom, so it's a promotion from the cellar-dwelling Mariners!

He's simply hoping to play for the Nix, and knows that playing in Poland is the best way to catch Rudan's eye.

Mariners are a shambles. Pain has been one of the few positives in their season, along with Kye Rowles (who is headed to City) and arguably their POTY Matt Millar (off to the Jets). Losing their best young players year after year isn't working when they aren't really getting any big names in or actually producing quality replacement young players. Crazy that I'm saying this about Pain as well - I don't think he would get into many other a league starting XIs, but the fact that he was one of their best players and is being replaced with Jai Ingham is a damning indictment on that club at the moment

Annual finals disappointment enthusiast.

And being a continual shambles, is only good news re licence extension for the Nix.

"You don't need to be faster than the chasing lion, just faster than the slowest runner".

Of course the club's on/off field goals, should be higher than just being better than CCM as an organisation, but their woes don't harm the Nix.

Wow FC Rieti, that's on my mother's doorstep.. Also they're in Serie C this year (unheard of) which isn't bad at all. They're coached by Ezio Capuano, a pretty average journeyman who has been fined for homopbobic remarks to the press and a few years ago was recorded during a changing room outburst where he literally lost the plot (Google it and if you can find a translation it's worth a watch)

Jets seem to be the only team getting their ducks in a row for next season atm.

Someone's wife/cousin/sibling is going to get a pretty good job in Perth next season methinks.. Either that or they'll blow the salary cap!

Bruno will take Castro's marquee slot, sounds like Roly will be signed as his replacement.

Cazorla? Sneijder? Surely that tweet is insinuating a big name

According to people "in the know" supposedly German.

I personally hope he's Italian.

Schweinsteiger is what most people are assuming.

Babalj is a sweet signing! I think he'll do well if he can stay injury free

He has played 463 minutes of first team football in the last 6 years. He had one good season at Heart and has lived off that for years.

I have a strange feeling that Appiah will actually do well for the Jets off the bench as an impact player.

If Glory manage to get Roly over the line, it will be interesting to see how they go for other signings. Fornaroli, Keogh and Roly won't be exactly cheap. Figure Castro will be finished though, so there's a large lump of coin there

You can probably get Roly inside the cap, his star isn't as bright as it once was.

He has 6 goals and 6 assists in his last 9 games.

Not saying he is playing badly, just its been awhile since he has hit those highs and that stops him from earning the kinda money that level of performances deserves.

I don't think he ever hit highs like that with us. His best season with us was 7 goals and 5 assists across a whole season, he has already surpassed that this season playing 9 less games.
