In an unsurprising move, AFC let Scott Galloway leave.

Now that would have a massive impact. He's a no nonsense type of character and fully committed. He'd be great for the league unlike some of the other more recent marquee signings like Sturridge or Villa who flopped imo

And even if he’s injured he could do a half time comedy show!

villa didn't really play enough games, and was only a guest player, to be considered a flop - 4 games and 2 goals.

Müller would be the most successful player ever played in the A-League.

It was fun whilst it lasted. All indications are that he is MLS bound.

Not an A League transfer but Jordy Bos just got signed to Feyenoord for about 10mill NZ 4 days ago.

I imagine he had a decent sell on clause as well, so a little more money into A League coffers. Similar to Irikandu going to Watford.

His dad is Dutch, and Feyenoord is the club he supported as a kid!

He absolutely tore it up at WSW before heading overseas. That would be a massive pick up for AFC.

Could be the type of player that allows us to target a visa cb if they signed for us

Sydney might be in need of a Senior Goal Keeper. Harrison Devenish-Meares has had surgery to fix a rupture in his ankle.

He's in the squad for the game tomorrow - pushing kiwi Ricky Fransen a spot back in the pecking order at the club.

Have been told that the A League teams have a rule around age limits for the NPL - meaning their older pros etc aren't allowed to play down. Means younger players like Fransen are forced to continue playing NPL for fitness, because players like Tongyik have to play the senior friendlies to get minutes because they can't drop.

We don't have a similar rule here in NZ - should we?
