Not sure if he'd join the Nix but here's hoping someone has asked the question.

He signed a 3 year deal, with the bulk of his money back loaded in the deal so surely isn't contract talks. Tho maybe he expected to be on the big money in the second year & Bobo triggering his extension has put a spanner in the works?

My first thought is that Sydney said they wouldn't stand in his way of a big money move for a reasonable transfer fee & the new management is digging their heels in wanting a huge transfer fee.

The Central Coast Mariners have wasted no time in sourcing a replacement for Alan Baro in the heart of defence, lining up former Reading defender Kalifa Cisse.

Cisse, 34, is currently free agent after leaving Thai League 1 club BEC Tero Sasana, the club which Mike Mulvey took charge of during the 2017 season before he returned to Australia to take the reins at the Mariners.

Rumours have been floating around Twitter for days that Bobo is going to be sold to a Turkish side. So if the problem is money, Sydney might have a marquee slot freed up soon.

They had the second worse defence in the league last season & Popa loves his defenders, he likes to have 2 in each position. Maybe he will look to move some on tho. They had no specialist left back also.

Ivan Franjic posted a picture to Instragram of him having dinner with Spiranovic, Mrcela & Fabio Ferreira. Maybe Fabio is heading west?

Steven Lustica was rumoured to be heading back to Croatia but I wouldn't be surprised if he went west also.

If Jason Davidson does sign on then Perth have a genuinely top class defence for the first time in a while. Davidson, Mrcela, Spiranovic, Franjic. That's as close to a brick wall as the a league gets, great recruitment from Perth

He seems to have fallen from favour, but I really do rate Shane Lowry as well

I almost wonder if the Glory will end up playing as a back 3

Was thinking the same thing. Lowry has been let down by those around him in recent years but is still definitely quality. Franjic and Davidson are quite attacking fullbacks too, think that would bring out the best in the players they have. Add a decent visa CM and forward and that's very much a top 4 starting 11, Perth are already my dark horses. NIB is gonna be a fortress this season

Incredibly fast. But other than that I always wondered what people saw in him. His career suggests I am wrong though and picking up any player from the J-League would be great for us
