Perth's squad looks amazing.

Weaker than last season, they could field an all Socceroo 5 man defence last season. They have last 3 of them, if Spiranovic doesn't re-sign

I wish he was still at the Nix. Decent CB that was getting to grips with the A League. If he had stayed here and if Tulay wanted him, it would have had us in a decent defensive set up. Just my opinion though.

Liked the look of him initially and he did put in some good performances but sadly failed to improve on the potential he showed.

Spaniard Alejandro "Alex" Sanchez could become the first player with one hand to play in the A-League as Central Coast Mariners consider a move for the Sydney Olympic striker.

The 30-year-old has been prolific during the past two seasons, netting 34 goals in the National Premier League NSW since joining Olympic last year.

Didn't we consider signing him at the start of last season?

Nope. We speculated that he may have been the 'unnamed Spanish trialist' we had during our Sydney camp but that turned out to be Mandi.

I seem to vaguely recall NoMates being a nix fan though unless I'm mistaken. If so you'd have to think it's wishful thinking on their part because i can't see us getting him - would be a really great addition though

Edit: I also highly doubt Jurman would have to trial at any a-league club

You would think so. A 36 year old midfielder is a bit of a gamble in the Aussie heat. The A-League is very back and forth, so he will need to be rather fit. A central mid can't be hidden on defence like Castro.
