Being reported on Fox Sports over here this one, he's been doing well there, which is surprising.

It's being put down to a business decision as the team he plays for is getting a Omani international back from Belgium. Danny is one too many apparently if this Omani dude comes back.

I quite liked Mitchell last season because he had Perth playing decent football, especially with the Dadi/Rukavytsya front combo and Amaral in mid. But he's lost the plot this season with his recruiting of all those failed so-called Socceroos. It's all just stodge and bickering egos now.

Heard that Roar will be trialling three, count 'em, three Ghanaians shortly.

They'll leave as soon as they find out what a dud Ange is.

PERTH Glory midfielder Adriano Pellegrino will fly to Glasgow next week to try and seal a dream move to Scottish giants Celtic.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who won Perth's Most Glorious Player Award for the 2007/2008 season, will head to Scotland to trial with Celtic after Glory's Round 24 fixture against Wellington Phoenix.

Cant believe he has a chance of getting a contract, can we try and sell them Mulligan and Ferrante?

I rate Pellegrino but not good enough to join Celtic.  Unless it is in the same capacity as Killen.

Clive is spitting his dummy due to the Aussie government (from what I can understand in the article) aren't allowing HIS Ghanaian to come and trial. Hilarious. Some random references to Nairobi in Clive's quotes too, nt sure what he's trying to say.

Melbourne Knights or NZ Knights? From memory, Melbourne Knights had Ghanian Ransford Banini, who supplemented his income by working with my brother at Telstra (i.e. Telecom Australia) in the mid-1990's.

Even with the Champions League coming up? I would think he might get a stay of execution to see how he goes in that.

Depends, the club may want a fresh start, not sure what to say. Could go either way P.

Gold Coast's Jefferson has been released, his spot on the roster has been taken by Anderson, who was playing as his injury cover.. And  a bit older, but Milson was also released and Charlie Miller took his spot on the permanent roster.

Clint Bolton has signed with the Heart...

And I'd be 99% sure Reddy is his replacement at Sydney.

And I think Aloisi of the John variety is linked with Heart as well.

do they have all that money to burn???
forgive me but if I had that kind of budget I would get 3-4 solid players to build a team to avoid the wooden spoon.

Aloisi in Melbourne? I don't think that will go down well.
CCM is more likely now that Arnie is in charge. But there are also rumors of Adelaide. Plus a final season with his home town would be a good exit.
That is if he doesn't decide to retire.
Corica has been forced into early retirement. Having surgery on Friday.
