So interesting times in the world of A-Leagues transfer gossip.

Nick Lennon posted that the Glory were shopping Taggart around.
Someone asked Lazaridis at a press conference & he emphatically denied it.
Someone posted on the A-Leagues Reddit claiming to have feed Lennon bullsh*t rumours to see if he would post them, including the Taggart one.
Sokkah Twitter turned on Nick Lennon
Nick Lennon claims he checked the rumorus this guy was feeding him & realised he was fake. And the Taggart rumour actually came from other sauces he trusts instead.

What does this actually mean? Easier player browsing or something?

Sounds like it's a hub connecting agents and clubs, so you don't need prior relationships etc. Haven't read the blog that talks about AFC using it yet.

Looking like the Glory is gonna sign Achraf Lazaar on loan during the January window.

Also murmurs about Tomislav Mrčela to the Glory also.

And Thomas Deng will leave his Japanese club, no word where he is off too.

Harsh but fair. Perth are extremely lucky not to be bottom of the ladder right now so big moves in the January and March wouldn't surprise me.

As for Oli I do feel kinda bad. His defenders genuinely don't do him any favours. I still remember the goal Payne scored on them a few games ago which simply shouldn't have happened. That being said he makes his own share of mistakes and will definately want to be on his a game if he wants to stay at Perth. (big emphasis on the if)

Unfortunately for Sail if he does leave Perth in January his stock will be much lower than when he left us and his options will be more limited.

His time in Perth likely won't get him a move to a bigger and better league like I assume he was hoping for when he moved there

Mark Birighitti  is a free agent & a Perth boy, so I wouldn't be surprised if they cut Oli for him.

Oli might need to sit out 6 months cuz AFC will need to sign another Keeper for when Paulsen leaves. He was at his best when coached by Jonathan Gould (AFC's GK coach atm).

He'll certainly want to keep playing if he wants to at least be in the squad for the Oceania World Cup qualifiers in March.

Well the big move for Oli has totally failed. But the writing was on the wall, his standards dropped at the end of the season when he annouinced he was leaving, looked very distracted. Perth's defensive issues arent all Sail's to bear, but he needs to take ownership of his part. He is supposed to be the organiser of the back line and it aint working.

Queenslander 3x a year.

Wasn’t Oli at his best when coached by Gothard?

I thought Gothard replaced Gould or was it the other way around? If so, my bad.

If true, this is so random. If it was Raphael Lea'i, then it would feel different.

Interesting. AFC already seem stacked for wingers. Their early success now seemingly an attraction for promising Aussies

I had wondered if they would also look for another CB as well. They could make a play for Thomas Deng & have 3 quality CB's + Smith as depth.
