He was loving it in Sydney. Dunno why WSW didn't re-sign him, maybe he dropped his asking price. Tho Macarthur probably is one to overpay for visas that are a known quality.

If Cosgrove wanted to leave, and Auckland really wanted to get something back for him - they may end up having to take whatever they are offered, otherwise risk him leaving for nothing at the end of the season.

selling cosgrove now would put a ittl;e bit of pressure on the new manager to replace him, might not get a new front man until jan.
