Is de Vries trialling at CCM?

Well he can't trial for the AW's despite playing a game for them.

Would a team risk an international spot on him? I.e. could it be the nix?

Would seem an odd signing for us after just getting Powell on the books I'd think. I thought I heard something a while back about CCM looking at him a while back but I can't remember the sauce

Is de Vries trialling at CCM?

Not only is his eligibility cloudy, his agent situation is too?

This can only be the work of that dastardly fiend NZF!!!

The SST guys were pimping him hard at the end of last season. That agent line could be them pushing their claim for a slice of the pie.

some tour...wonder if they're in a Hiace or a Transit (LWB = no need for a trailer...)

Triallists Max Burgess, Kofi Danning, Aryn Williams & Pat Alelmi were told on Friday that none will get contracted

Huge fall from grace for Kofi Danning.

Has never done anything except for a few good appearances for Sydney. Would not waste a spot. We've already got Appiah and Powell as 'promising players who may or may not do something good'

Glory release Keogh from his contract

Any further reports on the Thailand rumour for him? Or has that gone quiet?

(Still hoping we might get him)

Scraping the barrel

Experienced Aussie striker that would be willing to sign for not much, he wouldn't be the worst squaddie option out there. They surely don't have much cap space left after they stacked their midfield.

This is Sydney we're talking about, they always have cap space.

All of those points above pale into comparison when you talk about his punchability factor. I think its more important to talk about the tolerance of his team mates when you are talking about Matt Simon cause god knows there is a queue of people out there that would love to punch him square in the chops.
