Shut the gate. 3-zip.

This result means the highest the Phoenix can finish the weekend is fifth.

Bit hard to blame mossey there.  It was well hit.  30cm either side and it would have cannoned off his shin 2ndBest2009-11-07 22:46:14

This equals their biggest EVER loss - 0-4 away to Newcastle in R1 2006/07.

Even though this prevents us from hitting fourth this weekend, this cements my love for this league. The Clean for official theme song??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAl5qcTgmy0

Ah yes....well done...I was just looking at the Media Guide for the season, which doesn't include this season's results.

Second game tonight Gold Coast (3) v Sydney FC (1) at Skilled Park.  Really looking forward to this one.

GCU: Rees back in as well as Caravella and Porter. Robson out with a hamstring injury, Minnieconn drops to the bench and Jefferson drops out of the squad.

SFC: Same starting XI that beat the Phoenix last weekend; in fact, its the same starting side for the fifth straight match.

Gold Coast have lost their last two games and won just two of their last eight.

Sydney have won four of their last five and are top of the league, despite having lost four games (same number of losses as ninth-placed NQF).  Theyve only drawn once, showing the value of wins.  However, theyve won just one of their last five away matches.

These two have only played once before; a 2-1 win to GCU in round five, also at Skilled Park.

Gold Coast need to show some good old fashioned guts tonight. Not convinced they will though.

Can someone tell me how GCU are favourites for this one?

Surprised no Japanese sides made the ACL final and annoyed I cannot watch it as I am on a 500MB limit here

Anyone else trying to watch GCU on iraqgoals? The allocated channel has ACL instead. Anyone know where the Skyless can watch?

That Ferrari jacket Clive Palmer is wearing looks suspiciously like a fake one from China.

Fairly even game so far from what I've seen. Crowd still looks hugely unhealthy.

Beer maths...

3600 seconds in an hour.

times 400kb/s

= 1440000kbs

1 kilobyte= 9.54 x 10 to the power of negative 7 gigabytes

= 1.4 gigabytes an hour

Divide by two = 0.7

Plus 1.4 =

2.1 gigs for 90 minutes.

I passed School C maths in 6th form...
