He has always been a shocking ref.Would not surprise me if he sent a Roar player off just to even it up a bit, as I'm sure he probably knows he made a mistake.
Just on principle hope that Melbourne hang on for a point, and they appeal the red card and the player gets off and the ref gets a one match supension.

Horrible, horrible decision. I'm usually very quick to defend referee's, but the second red has killed the game. He had no choice but to send Covic off, but it was a very poor decision.

I don't think the decision was anywhere near as bad as you guys are making out. Have seen players sent off for less many times.

His worst decision so far was only to add on 3 minutes stoppage time when it took a total of 4 minutes to take the penalty alone, and then say 4 x 30 seconds for each goal, as well as maybe another minute for the red card!

Oh come on stop being so dramatic, he barely launched himself into the tackle with studs up it was a one legged challenge with some studs showing - for it to be a red card there has to be malice in the tackle, it's not like he's chased him 10 yards then tried to bobsled him, it was just sh*t timing if that's your opinion of a red card then your a pansy News.

I think I'm disappointed that now, if Brisbane thump them and score 5 more, the ref will be blamed, not the Victory performance.

After seeing it a few more times, I'm changing my mind on it. Studs were up, and it was late. Borderline yellow/red.
