I reckon BVM would be mad not to cap Arzani for World Cup. If he doesn't Queiroz will for Iran.

Jets! Wow, wooden spoon last year to this.

Well done Jets and well done Ernie. One of the few good things to come out of a pretty forgettable A League season.

You do wonder though about those two crucial refereeing non-decisions in the first half that went against City.

He beats 100 defenders and then crosses to no one. He just has no end product at this stage in his career.

Problem with Arzani is that he is such an aggravating and unlikeable little bugger that it almost annoys me seeing how much talent he's got. I have to disagree with you though, RR. For me he is without doubt the best and most dangerous young attacking 'Australian' player I've seen in 10+ years of watching the A League. It would be crazy for them not to cap him ASAP.

I'm never going to get tired of seeing that. The Jets have been inspirational this season, gives me hope that we could do the same if we get the ingredients right. Great to see Ernie doing so well with them.

As if this season could get any worse.

I fly home to Newcastle on holiday next week...

If Victory win tonight, the Jets will get to host the Grand Final in the Hunter. The FFA won't be moving it on them like they did CCM.

Having said that tho, I wan't Sydney to win. I wanna see the two best sides contest the final & the contrast in styles should make for a good game.

FFA wont move the match because they know that it's their best chance to sell out a stadium for the first time this season

Whatever the result tonight, safe bet to say fans of 9 other clubs will be Jets fans next week.

Maybe but he does a valuable job. And could easily have had a pen there where Deng rugby tackled him off the ball.

Has that just done for de Marigny's chances of the coaching job? What a nutter. Another red card for his collection.

after the goal Jean Paul de Mariney assaults Simon? Or carney? I think on the pitch.  Looks like a complete nutter. 2 red cards for victory coaching staff now

Suspect a lot more might be heard about this. Coaches at this level don't react like that especially two at the same time. What caused it?

Or stay true to your Jets hate and go and see the game wearing a Victory jersey.

On second thought, maybe just wear the CCM jersey. People will be nice and say how sorry they are for you.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days
