Really should have been 1-1, you would normally expect Taggart to slot those chances

CCM looking good going forward but vulnerable at the back, they could have easily coughed up an equalizer on the break a couple times

Is Asdrubal a bit of a dud? Couple of touches aside he hasn't impressed. Should have got that free header at least on goal.

Taggart blows another good chance, still 0-1

He hasn't been great but he hasn't stunk up the joint, I'm not willing to label him a bust just quite yet

That was coming. Bet they'll finish the job too.

Taggart makes amends for all his missed chances by putting one on a plate for Keogh, 1-1

Two broken bones and a dislocated ankle for Vargas according to the Courier Mail. Hard to imagine him getting back on the park this season.

Both these teams look buggered. So many mistakes and possession given away.

Thoughts on how Conger reffed the Roar game? Loads of salty Roar fans on twitter last night over him

Very sad to see such bad injuries happening at any time in a season, but round 3 is extra tough

Ah, its a hearing to decide if an offence has been committed and if so, what punishment to be handed down.

Six match ban would be ideal, don't like to see him playing here.

Minimum is a 4 match ban, that would probably be about what they give him if found guilty. It won't be a huge ban like Vuka got for his high five.

Ronald Vargas might be back playing before the A-League season is out, with the Newcastle marquee star receiving better-than-expected news on his broken leg.

He is the A-league highest scorer and probably most often banned player. Even tried to drag Durante in his stupids antics with the choking claim.

Suspended sentences are a complete cop-out.  It really shouldn't matter whether you do it again or not to decide the severity of your ban

Yeah, all you're doing is encouraging him because he gets away with it over and over again.

Normally I would agree but given Berisha probably should have got off scot-free (Ref appears to have changed his mind after the game what he awarded the yellow card for), I'm not gonna complain too loudly about it.

I saw it for the first time today and quite frankly he should should have got off. It was a joke.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid
