Mossy starting for the jest!

Kosta!!! Ripper of a first-time volley from 18 yards. Victory leading after 5min.

I'll say the obvious: pity he couldn't do that for the AWs.

Duncan is hurt, out for a couple weeks.

And that is quite a reply from Newcastle! 1-1

Great to see Pet Rat finally living up to his early promise. For so long it looked like he might fall away into the ranks of the A League also-rans but he's really kicked on.

After he was released from Sydney he ended up trialing with Blackburn Rovers but ended up playing in Malaysia. Both him & Nabbout have come back far better players from stints in Malaysia, maybe other fringe A-League players should look at that option rather than going back to play NPL.

Really lost his head! Was expecting a yellow but justifiable red.

Nabbout taps it in for a Jets lead, 2-1

Newcastle quick to capitalise, Nabbout makes it 2-1.

Geria had to get in a challenge there. Tough playing with ten but the defending has to be better than that.

aside from his goal, Kosta has been awful

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

You were also supposed to state that Nabbout had made it 2-1!

Really can't see MV working their way back into this like they did against WSW.

Not just him either. Berisha has been non-existent. MV depend heavily on him defending from the front but it looks like has wading through mud tonight.

Gotta take my hat off to Ernie, he has the Jets playing some very good football atm. This Jets squad probably isn't as talented as what he had available whilst he was at the Nix but he has them playing at a level well above anything we managed under him (apart from that half a season with Burns)

Yeah, sucks quite frankly. But they are good to watch that's for sure.

Agreed. I was surprised they picked him up after their run of being rubbish and ours of being not much better but he has them playing some lovely football. And winning football!

I guess the real test will be later in the season when teams start sitting back against them. Ernie couldn't adapt to that with us, wonder if he will this time around. He will get some help in the transfer market in January I think, 2 visa slots available and the IR for Vargas (he reckons he will be back for the finals tho).

Just as I thought MV were sneaking back into the game. Wonder if that ball-boy is gonna get a medal too!

I just realised that the Jets won this game with none of their visa players on the park.
