I reckon a 1-1 draw, Bab & Bobo to score.

Gotta say that is a rather uninspiring bench for Sydney, they probably do need 2 more attacking signings in January.

20 minutes of Adelaide being well on top, surely must be due a Sydney goal against the run of play ...

Strain looks a rather promising prospect for Adelaide

Mileusnic heads wide when it was easier to score. Sydney look out of sorts again today.

He has spurned a truckload of good chances so far this season. Reds would be a long way further up the table with even half those chances taken.Which kind of underlines the problems they have up front with a non-performing import.

But I do think he may be one of those young players who takes a few years to mature, like Pet Rat and Fitzgerald.

Bobo out of nothing, 0-1.

Promise of torrential rain 2nd half could make this one interesting.

He is 24, I always thought he was younger than that. But agreed, chuck Harold in that list also.

24, older than I thought too. Have to respectfully disagree about Harold though. Even now he's very inconsistent: long periods of average, punctuated by jaw-dropping misses in front of goal with far too occasional flashes of speedy brilliance. I'm always worried that he will one day move clubs and end up in a yellow stripey!

Adelaide need a goal and they sub on Blackwood, this won't end well.

Permalink Permalink

Geez that wasn't a good thing to see from Adrian, he is far too good to just be flopping for fouls like that.

Sadly It's a long time since we saw a card given for simulation.

Sydney always seems to find a way to win under Arnie.

Mileusnic, Gulum and Ochiega complete crap for Adelaide. Sydney should have won by more.

Even tho they have 3 defenders on their bench, gotta think WSW's starting line up should put a few past Brisbane here. I reckon WSW 3-0

If even WSW are getting crowds that small then the league really does have a problem with its metrics.

Riera misses an open header, should have scored.

Wet weekend all over Aussie it sounds, so could be small crowds everywhere. WSW's memberships are still rather high but it doesn't seem to translate into crowds atm, no one seems to like to travel to Spotless (or ANZ in this case).

Riera comes to the sideline and asks to come off.

Having 3 defenders on the bench now looks a rather daft move by Gombau ...

And now Sotirio is struggling.

Doesn't have the gumption to sub himself off like Riera!

Lulz, WSW fail to clear a ball in the box and Maccarone makes them pay. 0-1

Was literally just thinking how one dimensional Roar's attack has been and that happens.

Cejudo rolls an ankle just before half time, will he come back after half time?

And wow, WSW are terrible. Just no movement from anyone, its all passing straight to the feet of a stationary player. Just nothing going forward.

A hat trick of dives from Santalab.

This game is rubbish.

That wasn't rubbish! A beauty.

Did almost exactly the same thing to us for a last minute winner at RoF I remember.

Anyone else getting marlarky from the sky sport pop up?

Just giving a sky announcement about pop up channels and generic music. Anyone else got the same deal?

edit: got a couple of minutes of game and now some out of focus stuff with the commentary. Weird.

and not a great watching experience

I'm watching Foxtel but that sounds bloody frustrating.

Champness has got some NZ connection right? Hope someone is keeping tabs on this guy for the future. Very promising.

MC hanging on here.

City's passing is truly awful.

And Jets are 1-0 up from another City howler of a pass. Nabbout taps it home.

fixed itself, but the crowd is waaaaay back at the top of the stadium!

HT 1-1

Practically the only attack a woeful City managed Boogaard gives away a cheap penalty for McCormick to score.
